They could have played the game in Toronto ..... if they wanted 15,000 fans to show up

Amirite, @TorontoEagle ?

The Skydome is currently under major renovations inside. Should be great for the Jays, but unfortunately can’t hold a football game.

I suppose BMO Field could tho….

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Don’t imagine the practice on a Thursday of a bye week is very intense. Let Quinn rest his back and AJ rest his ankle. And, on the off chance that Maddox can play, no sense in not resting him.  Nothing on Scott?  Figured he would be in concussion protocol.

He is a low volume deep threat in this offense. He is just that he is the third option on that with Brown and Smith, who aren’t slow and have better hands. The screens I don’t get. Those should go to Pascal. Not fast, not as good of hands as Quez but much more success physically.  I would also like to see some screens to Gainwell and Scott.  Love the Goedert screens.

Hurts lacks the touch for the rb passing

You ask somebody to use a swastika as an avatar. Again as somebody who had family members survive the holocaust and I am Jewish you are a Fing ahole. Let me say that again you are an ahole. I don’t care if you report me.  you should’ve been reported for Fing asking somebody to do that. Like get the F off this board and blog you don’t deserve to be on it for being an inconsiderate Fing POS.

If I found out my insurance agent was asking that, I would have a new insurance agent.

Why would he on a bye week Thursday practice?  Rest the arm all this week.

I don’t know if a reporter asked this or if they just haven’t, but I’d have asked normally you are sore after a game? How does this soreness compare to the normal soreness experience after a game?

Ya but i feel you have to ask that question to get the follow up question to confirm he always is sore after any game.

You know he's going to lead them out of the tunnel at some point whether in civies, jersey or full uniform.  Still not much on what caused this to happen.

I thought it was pretty certain that he had Commotio Cordis due to trauma.  It's great that he's out and I hope he's able to be with his team.

It doesn't seem to me that Steichen utilizes the RB in the passing game much at all.  I don't think I have seen a lack of touch but maybe I'm wrong.

He is not going to let on to anything. Well coached.

Kinda chicken and egg i suppose

is it just not in our gameplan or is it ineffective and thus been removed?

i think we started using the te screen as a substitute. With this oL and the blitzes we get the screen game should be a staple

A non-NFL city with a stadium would have been the "smart choice" imo.   More exposure for the NFL, etc.

Yep.  Some Big 10 stadiums would have worked.  Say Nebraska (Omaha) or maybe OSU (if Cincinnati wasn’t in it).

And get a bland answer like "well some games are really physical so you can be pretty sore and at this stage of the season everyone is banged up and sore. next question.”

I’m guessing probably what you’d get as he’s astute in answering questions. But maybe you get a slip up of it’s more sore than normal.

We already know the cause:

Siri doesn’t give health updates for a broken hang nail all year but now is happy to share how sore Jalen? Something smells weird. I’m going to bet he is healthier than leading on.

They should make this the case in the regular season too.

The dumbest thing in sports is having a tie.  Unless I'm mistaken only sports that have ties are football and soccer.

And if you are doing anything the same as soccer, you are definitely doing it wrong.

The fact that they only changed it for the playoffs makes no sense. You either believe it improves the game and makes it fairer or you don't. The fact they made it just for the playoffs is a half measure. The NFL is always doing half measures and takes them ages to correct basic mistakes and dumb rules like fumbling over the goal line gives the other team the ball.

Tbh i kind of got eliminating the extra 5 minutes in overtime for injury purposes but i still hate the fact they got rid of the 15 mins and moved to 10. Besides changing kicking a field goal on the opening possessions the game still continues, i think the time change has contributed to the ties we are seeing

Cricket, Chess -- a draw, horse racing -- a dead heat, you know, the sports that fit in a conversation about American Football.
