Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

The only thing worse than their takes was their personalities, which made this place really enjoyable.  Watching them flail around in here made me laugh my arse off daily.   They just continued to take their beatings on a daily basis with zero self awareness and no remorse.

Haha..continued flailure...

While I wouldn't be stunned if the Bucs won, I've watched them all year and I know what I saw while watching them. They're bad. Legitimately bad. They had to scratch and claw to barely win a horrendous division. They can't pass block and they can't run the ball.

Barring Dallas completely flubbing the joint, I don't think the Bucs will win.

And I know Brady is Brady, but even when Brady was in his prime, the Patriots went a decade between SB appearances. He's not god. And now he's 45 years old.

Oh, and Bowles sucks. So not even a coaching advantage vs McCarthy there.

???????? Biggest gap in Super Bowl appearances was 4 years, 2007 - 2011.  I assume you meant between wins, not appearances.

I met him once in the early '90s.   Played Blackjack next to him at the Trop in LV.  He was out for some jump?  I vaguely recall a rooftop jump...

He sat down and they roped it off.  I offered to get up but he said no issue.

Pleasant guy (we were winning so easy to be pleasant).

  Didn't he finish last year on IR, which is why Dickerson played so much last year?

Got ahead of myself. Addressed. This year....

Regarding your bolded words, was Shawn Andrews ever "a Guard”?

You are an entertaining sumgun, Matt, I'll always give you that. :showoff:

Andrews was a Freak of nature, a Road Grader, a complete package and a Generational talent....

from the neck down....so sad a finish..

Now to dial in on your point. Would you attempt to train Dickerson out as a Left Tackle?...or Right for instance?

Remember we're talking about an eventual replacement for Lane...

I hadn’t given Dickerson even a moment’s thought, but thanks to you I will add that scenario to the mix.  I was rather thinking of drafting the best RT prospect and plugging him in as the RG starter from Day One.  That way he would be working hand in glove with Lane, while getting valuable experience as an NFL starter, and delivering solid return for the Draft capital invested in him.  The question is whether there is an appropriately high quality RT prospect in this Draft.

Regarding Dickerson, switching sides of the OL can be challenging.

Andrews was drafted to be the LT heir apparent.  He proved to be a much better Guard than anticipated and the LT vacancy took much longer to open up … as a result he didn’t become an OT until he played for the Giants his final season.

FWIW, I was very impressed with the TCU RG Steve Avila in the Michigan game.  He projects to be a Day 3 pick.

Five years ago today on  January 13th, 2018 the eagles beat the falcons in the divisional round of the playoffs. I remember it being a very close and tense game and thankfully the NFC championship game against the vikings was a much easier game.

What happens if Lamar doesn’t sign the franchise tender?

He’s stupid.  Same if he holds off and doesn’t report for OTAs or TC.  Right now, he’s damaged goods. I understand not taking the risk on his PCL getting worse but it looks a bit questionable to all the Ravens fans in my area and amongst my friends.  (Most people in my part of the state work in Baltimore, including me before retiring.)  The franchise tag for a QB is clearly market value and guaranteed.  If he wants to test the market the next year, he has to show he is not damaged and worth a contract.

I know but, didn't have issues with his elbow and what not this year? Anyways I think the real question a coach, gm, fan has to ask themselves.... Would you rather your QB get hurt in the pocket trying to get a ball down the field or getting blown up running for a meaningless yard on a designed run

A defender isn't going to risk a roughing the passer penalty if he nails a QB running once across the line of scrimmage.

Sounds like everyone was pleasant because it became a private party where people were shootin ropes.  Were the other 2 players at the table @EaglePhan1986 and @olsilverhair?

On St Paddy’s day back in the day we used to have a blast using this line on women. No, it never worked, but was hilarious.

Yeah but only to prevent toilet seat splatter for wife and daughter. Have you ever been considerate?  You don’t strike me as a reacharound guy even after I let you out of your cage between 1-3 am.

Also one of the most underrated movies ever. I can’t stop laughing from start to finish.
