Wrong.  Under 2 mins refs can review anything.  They didn't need to in this case because it was an obvious incompletion.

Yeah I thought that was the rule too. They didn’t review because it was a blatant incompletion. Romo even explained the only reason the crowd reacted the way they did was because Buffalo’s stadium video guy was manipulating the replay to not show the feet

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

No.  @mattwill is completely correct.  The way results are tracked now is win, loss, or shootout/OT loss.  There is no "tie” anymore.  A team gets one point for the OTL, while the other team gets two points for the win.  That does not compute to .500 because you’ve lost ground to your opponent in the standings

The Flyers are 18-25.  It can be catalogued as 18-18-7 but they are not a .500 team.  There is a reason teams need 93 or 94 points in the 82-game regular season to make the playoffs.  They will be nowhere close with 82 points.

Again I ask did they lose those games in regulation fashion? They did not. Again nhl standings have them at .500. The NHL essentially eliminated a tie, but still is telling you getting to overtime or shootout is essentially a tie by giving both teams at least a one point. Because they know they it was idiotic to completely changing do the game to 3 on 3 for 5 mins then a shootout wasn’t fair to justify it the same as a regulation loss. Frankly, they should just have ties. Or just keep playing sudden death, but they won’t do that because of injury concerns

When they win one of those games it counts fully in the Wins column.  You are deluding yourself with 18 and 18.

Even though OT losses are losses, in hockey they count as points for even making OT. They’re basically recognized as soccer ties even though technically they’re not.

The NHL chooses to not recognize OT losses as losses, even though they recognize OT wins as normal wins. I understand if you don’t like it, but it is the rule. They are .500 by rule.

McDaniels looks like an IT systems engineer

Giants or Vikings to root for? I know it's the Giants and we hate them but I see them as a much easier out.

Most coaches look like truck drivers or former teachers who beat pedophilia accusations; it’s a refreshing change

Giants offer the least resistance to the NFCCG

Dude is a turnover machine.

If that was Brady, they would have called the helmet to helmet contact.

Correct.  If you’re getting one point while the other team gets two you’re essentially losing instead of tying.  Bettman and his trio of cretins have done so much to ruin the NHL.  This is one of those areas.

Allen is having a stinker

I don’t even know where he’s coming up with 3 from. You only get two points for a winning a game in hockey. So if you get to overtime and lose or lose in a shootout, you get half the amount of points possible. It’s essentially what the NHL used to have in a tie.

The reason they did that cause they knew it was BS to change the overtime rules to 3 on 3  then ended in a shootout and consider that the same type of loss as a regulation loss. So you get one of two points. Where the hell is 3 coming from unless he’s talking 3 on 3 overtime hockey.

That’s the soccer calculation. My bad.

That was the worst announcer's jinx of all-time.
