Broncos missed out on harbaugh. Wonder if they land Quinn now or up their pursuit of Payton.

If they hire a defensive HC, they deserve what's coming to them

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Aren't they going to interview Ryans still?

Meddling/involved, tomato/tomato.  Lurie would be proud of that response.

Im not criticizing.  If I owned the team, the draft room would be myself and 10 computer monitors with Howie for the press conference.  I get it.

And the owners never start out stupid.  Jerry Jones was smart once.  Even Dan Snyder.  Age and narcissism erode that.  Natural life cycle.

I forgot you always seem to have the sky crashing down around you. Sorry for that.

Billion dollar businesses, but only 32 of them in this case , still have to operate under an acceptable standard of practice.

Much like the Medical Profession. Obey the Rules or Face the Sanctions or... face demise.

Hated the Uncapped year and the violations, relevant here, even so...

Snyder is in the Demise phase, so's Irsay...so there's that...

Difference is, the NFL Owners can raid the Pharmacy if they see fit, get away with it, move the bucks and carry on.

That's Executive Suite stuff. If they want to stir the pot in the locker room, that's another level of "Involvement".

It's the boss' job to ask questions, determine who is accountable for decisions, set out clear expectations.

You don't want an owner telling his subordinates what to do (micro-managing), nor do you want an absentee owner.

Lurie is a top 10 owner.

Yep. I think there’s a fine line though, and Lurie IMO clearly has meddled, but hopefully he’s learned his lesson and can rein in Howie’s meddling too.

Doug and his coaching staff would be exhibit A. While questioning the game plan in that prime time win over Green Bay last sent meddling per se, it really displayed a lack of self awareness and frankly a lack of football knowledge.

Same mistake as the falcons in the super bowl. So dumb.

Holy Cow. They gave the Jags 2 extra minutes and lost the game within the last seconds of the game.

There’s a ton that has to go wrong to lose a 20-point lead in the second half of a playoff game. At least try to do the simple things within your control to mitigate against such mayhem.

Relax it only adds up to 2:06 extra time they could have run off... It's not like the game came down to a last minute play or anything 🙂

Ah you beat me to it. It’s truly unreal. The tepid reaction from that fanbase at that atrocity of a game has been also bizarre.

Cant imagine how we would react if this happened in Philly.

Whether it is sarcasm or not, it is a hoot take.  So his statement stands as written.

Have a JWB and begin again. :showoff:

Actually didn't take as long to fix as I thought it might. Maybe an hour. Annoying to make that simple/stupid of a mistake, but in the long run, it helped because I figured out a faster way to do the bulk of the work (which I will reveal at some point in the not too distant future ... hopefully).

Jerry was never smart.  Jimmy Johnson was smart in the early years and powerful enough to keep Jerry at bay.  Once their power struggle resolved itself it was downhill fast.

For what it is worth I lived half a block from Jerry fro 1989 to 1996.  I got to see him in action up close and personal.  While there the daughter of two of our best friends was dating Skip Bayless.  They were horrified … and he was only a local dude at that point

@RLC add him to your top 10 list.

Some team will overdraft him. Good player, but not quite what he's made out to be.

TCU WR's have a great track record, especially in Philadelphia.

I know how you guys love these silly stats, especially if you are a Hurts Squirt.

May be an image of 2 people, people playing football and text that says 'QBS WITH 300+ PASSING YARDS, 2+ PASSING TDS AND 75+ RUSHING YARDS IN A POSTSEASON GAME: -DANIEL JONES THAT'S IT. THATS THE LIST. ny 8 OCDSSPORTS SPORTS'

This is the kind of thing Rueben Frank rubs one off to.

TCU’s RB turned pro too.

I have this habit of getting really excited hearing about top WR prospects, then I have to remind myself this ain’t your dads eagles and there’s a slim chance they’re close to as good as the ones (plural) we got

He's an interesting name to look out for.  I think he would be great in this offense.  Another young buck, doesn't turn 21 until June.  Can they get him in the 3rd?

TCU is going to be in for a ROUGH 2023 season.

Rashee Rice might be my favorite WO in the draft

Keylon Stokes another

This is a weak top 10 class, but sufficient close enough talent should lead to trade down opportunities.

We all enjoy this site to trade our barbs and banter about our Eagles. People generally don't want to know how the sausage is made.

Not sure how many actually appreciate that this is a Fan-Owned Platform, and the Work/Loot it takes to keep it up and running.

I, for one, know the deal and respect the effort. ...Coding, Skins, Mods, Archiving, Money, Time. ..all work you do for us...

..."brushes the invisible lint off your lapel"......You Rock! Sincerely Appreciate you...

Hope your Mom is well, keeping good thoughts, always..

It's simply amazing how some guys just sit over their keyboard looking to find conflict and then leap.

@GoEagles5921 you need to relax a little. It'll be better in the long run.

This guy seems to think he has a handle on me. Only ever seen him respond to me in the negative. Wonder why?
