There’s a place here in Charlotte that sells 30” New York style pizzas called Benny Penelo‘s, made with sourdough pizza crust. Sourdough is so unbelievably good, it’s multi-regional chain on the east coast (though I think different regional stores have different names for some reason):

 

Really good value too, each slice is a meal, and it’s 36$ for a pie

I haven't had any of those pizza chains in years. I can't really eat pizza anymore anyway, but back when I could tolerate it, the acidity in those fast food chains with the grease would just destroy me.

I think I last had Papa Johns like Late 2000's, Dominoes a little after that, same with Pizza Hut. Haven't had Little Caesar's since the 90's. Back in the day they used to be my favorite. People say the pizza is a lot different now though. Don't they make a bunch of pizzas in the morning and just keep them under hot lamps all day?

Yeah, they food is basically a takeout-only buffet style now, much better business model for them

Its a goal of mine to try a lot more of the pizza's I have seen on the one bite pizza reviews.

But I have been lucky enough to have 2.

One was a 7.3 back in the day when a 7.3 was a really good score.

And I have had as high as a 7.9 which has always been a really high, hard to get score.

I have had some good pizza. If I say Chuck E Cheese is damn good, its damn good.

In Canada we likely miss out on a lot of the US fast food chains, but we do get some up here:

Carl’s Junior might be my fav.  Fatburger is fine, but pricey.  Five Guys is overrated and overpriced.  We don’t have In And Out here but I’ve heard good things.  We don’t have Sonic or Chick-Fil-A.

Wendy’s is letting their competition and the world pass them by.  McDonalds is still trash but won’t actually endanger your health anymore.  Burger King might hold the record for highest grease ratio
