I saw the Giants compared to the 2017 Eagles earlier which is way too hot takey, but there is something about underdogs, upsets and less superior teams going on a playoff run. See it happen all the time. We just saw a team win for the first time in NFL history with 5 turnovers and down 27-0. We just saw Skylar Thompson almost beat the Bills. Bengals almost lost if it weren't for a 98 yard fumble recovery. If Eagles play their A game they aren't losing, but if they make a mistake here or there, anything can happen.

The previous 5 years 1 or 0 road teams won in the divisional round.

Feels like this may be a year that multiple road teams win, but if it is half, who are they ??

Chiefs are the sure bet of the weekend.

Yes, I still hold a grudge against that man. I remember fans a decade later lamenting the fact that the Eagles didn’t have a returner "like Walli Henry” and I wanted to scream! He singlehandedly (virtually) cost us a playoff game because he fumbled multiple kicks which allowed an inferior team to beat us.

I wouldn't say I'm "worried" but I've trained myself not to let my expectations get too high over the years.  When I was younger and the Eagles would lose I would be miserable for a solid day or two after the fact - now I get over it much more quickly.

I can easily see the Cowboys winning. All season long they have been better than Eagles fans would admit. And I absolutely don’t trust a seventh round rookie in an important spot. That’s why I would feel good about facing the 49ers next week. Purdy is not playing three flawless games from here on out. Just hoping he holds off on his bad game for another week...unless it’s against the Giants.

The Eagles had a better offensive and defensive line than any of the teams they faced in the playoffs in 2017.  They had better skill players too on offense.  The big question was QB.
