Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Funny thing happened today, and since I've recently mentioned some of the health struggles that we're facing here, I'll mention this. Today was a doctor visit for my mother with her General doctor, just a checkup sort of visit.

She has issues with her hearing, so she doesn't always hear things correctly. The doctor was talking to me to give me ideas on helping keep my mother's weight up, and was talking about 'high protein and high calorie' drinks, like Boost.

My mother heard the 'high protein' part, but mistook her to be saying 'cocaine', and thought that the doctor was suggesting that we get some for her... the doctor got a BIG kick out of that and will likely be telling that story for years to come lol.

It was on Premium Tate and you weren't invited.

I hope it’s so that we can deactivate Wallace.

Would he be able to replace him on ST's? We barely used Harris last year there and I didn't pay attention to Denver so I have no idea.

My father had throat cancer and lost most of his teeth and his sense of taste due to the chemo. The Boost is probably the only thing kept him alive lol. They also make it for people with diabetes like he has.

Nice tip, Jeff. I was convinced Anthony Harris meant he was playing RT.

There is a God, after all.  Mike Florio is all pissy about a flight attendant not arriving.

Yeah, when eating a full meal just isn't possible, the Boost really helps. The High Calorie Boost has 360 calories. The Very High Calorie has something like 530. She doesn't like the Very High version, because it's very thick. So I take a High Calorie and a Very High Calorie and mix them together. That kind of dilutes it. So drinking those two (mixed like that), gives her 890 calories just in two eight ounce drinks.

Her weight had dropped to 98 a couple of weeks ago. Then I started doing that, and today it's up to 102.2 lbs. So it's trending upward. Plus, I've convinced her to take a bit more of the 'special' gummies that I got for her. She just doesn't like the 'dizzy' feeling that she gets from those.

I wouldn't suggest mixing coke with any whiskey if you want to acquire a taste.  I would just go with water or ice.  Bulleit and Four Roses are also reasonable priced ones.

Maybe the flight attendant will show with his/her service dog and his head will explode.

Have you tried ones with a higher cbd ratio? That will still make her feel drowsy, but it's supposedly less of a head high and more of a body high. Would still have the appetite boosting effects though.

You may be able to get Frank's Reserve Broad Branch distillery in Winston-Salem. They had it at the ABC store near me and it was good and relatively inexpensive.

No, I've gotten gummies and tinctures. I've seen the chocolates, but just haven't gotten any. Either way though, the effects that she doesn't like, would be the same.

At some premium shops there are gummies that are about 5 mg CBD and 5mg THC.  That might work for her.  So would a full potency THC gummy that is large and can be cut into quarters.  Like, instead of a gummy bear you go with a gummy sour strip that can be cut up.

See the Lassos on the far right of this photo by way of example.

And before anyone asks, yes this is my private stash.  For tomorrow.  Sunday's batch hasn't been delivered yet.

What I have available here, is fairly limited and not super strong to begin with. One that we've tried, has 8.4mg THC with only 1.12mg CBD per gummy. The chocolates have 9.45mg THC per chocolate, but no CBD. Some of the tinctures range from a 1:1 ration, but others are more like 2:1 (THC to CBD).

I'm playing around with making them myself (cheaper and I can more or less regulate the ratios), but the dispensary ran out of high CBD flower back in September and has never gotten any more in and what they do have, has very low levels of CBD (1% and under).

I just have to find the right strain, then a good dosage for her to get the benefits that we need without the negative effects (those effects that she doesn't like but that the rest of the population probably loves lol).

CA, baby.
