The dispensary here, had some CBD that I was going to get for that purpose, but an incident made us spend a week in the hospital (they allow me to stay in the room with her and each room has a sofa bed for that reason). Since we were in the hospital, I couldn't get to the dispensary and they sold out. That was in September. They haven't ever gotten any back in stock since then. But that was exactly my goal.

Damn brother that's rough. She's lucky she's got you in her corner.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Hey guys, may as well not even watch the game tomorrow.  Rich Eisen and the boys said nice things about the Giants, so we are done.

It’s so weird the media is trying to spin some intrigue into games instead of saying "this is a blowout, barely worth watching.”

I'm always have concern for any game, but I think I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. We're just the better team. Not just a little better but significantly better. (I do stats every year, and statistically this is the best team we've ever had.) If we don't lose the turnover battle, I'm pretty confident we win. But if we lay it on the ground a few times or throw the ball to the other team, then we could have issues.

What I really want to see is for us to get up early and kinda force the Giants to have to play catch up. What I don't want to see is for the Giants to slow the game down with time consuming drives that reduce the number of possessions each team gets. That's kind what the Commanders did in their win. If I were the Giants, I would try to mimic that game. Run the ball a lot on second down, even after minimal gains on first down, in order to get them into third and medium-or-short. In my memory, I think we've shown some vulnerability in stopping those. String a few conversions like that and not only are you gaining yardage, but you're taking time off the clock. I don't want that. Just get up early and blow the doors off them.

I don't mean to signal out you specifically with the bolded comment. But Eagles fans in general. I hear now about how much talent the Eagles have, but I sure don't recall any sentiment like that prior to the year. I don't remember fans arguing that we had a loaded roster. On the other hand, I do recall people complaining about our general manager and what a crappy job he's been doing at acquiring talent. Maybe, just maybe, Howie Roseman has actually been doing a good job all along.

I pointed out a year ago that Howie was best when he was rebuilding teams, but at his worst after the SB, when he refused to accept it was a dream season and thought he could keep the gang together and the window open. He quickly turned the team around after taking over for Chip, and quickly turned it around when cleaning up his own mess. He's really good at finding value in short-term veteran deals, and he may be the best draft day trader in the league. His weakness was falling for the biggest mistake in the book, going for need instead of BPA. But Howie is a smart guy who learns from his mistakes. While he targeted positions, he only filled them with value, Davis, Jurgens and Dean were all arguably BPA when taken.

He'll have to rebuild the defense after this season, but I think continuity is more important on the offensive side of the ball, especially the OL, and QB/receivers. On defense, it's easier to patch spots with one year contracts while you build up young depth.

A bigger problem is if they lose Gannon, they'll have to adjust to a new coordinator and maybe different roles/values for some players.

Not sure if this is true or not but Beta Bo Wulf said he heard a lot of Eagles fans have sold their tickets to Giants tomorrow for whatever reason. So we'll see if we hear anything during the game when the Giants make a play.

Focus. We got a playoff game tomorrow. Daboll is going to nickle & dime yardage us. We need to put an end to that quick. Okay, that's all, carry on.

Some good whiskeys that will not break the bank but are smooth are Woodford reserve, knob creek, makers mark. Eventually you can just add some rocks once you acquire the taste but until then, do a 50/50 mix with some Coke and ice.

Criminal to mix Woodford with Coke

I do not envy Sirianni and Gannon tomorrow. There’s nothing they could really do tomorrow that would wow people considering the Eagles are big favorites, but if the Eagles lose they’re going to get the blame for it since the Eagles have the much more talented roster. Hope they don’t coach tight tomorrow, and I don’t expect them to.

All they have to do is win and move on. They can wow someone down the road.

I would agree with all of this but we just don’t know about Hurts or Johnson. If they are limited then it could be very tight if the Giants stay patient and can squeeze out some first downs. No doubt we are far better but we aren’t 100% and the question is how much are we missing.

Well Eagles fans....we are finally here.  It's been an amazing ride and season but now it's time to finish the job.  The NFL Playoffs.  For the 2nd straight year (5th appearance in the last 6 years)   This year, no going on the Road (No playing Brady since he was one and done as well).  The Birds are home for Playoffs.   The Eagles have been the best team in the NFC and one could argue the NFL all season long.   That's why they are the #1 Seed and tied for the Best Record in the NFL (With the Chiefs though the Eagles lead them most of the season).   We've watch this team break record after record.  Win week after week.   Get awards week in and week out.   This team has performed at the level of some of the best teams in Eagles History including the legendary 2004 and 2017 Teams.    They've come so far and done to much for that to slip away here.   The GMen have had a good season this year.   After 5 straight years of losing seasons, they finally got a great Coach in Daboll.  He's turned the franchise around in one year.    They finished with a winning record and even won a Playoff game for the first time since Eli in over a decade against the 13-4 Vikings.

This Super Bowl run they won't be playing the Vikings in the playoffs so it won't be the exact same as 80, 04 or 17 (Though they beat the Vikings in the regular season).   But this new route to the Super Bowl is one that will first go through the NFC BEAST.    Eagles, GMen and the Boys are in the Divisional Round.  So this was by far the toughest and best Division in Football and The Birds won it.   But the GMen had the worst record against the Division this year.  1-4-1 which was lower than Washington.     Though Daniel Jones played very well last week and throughout the year.   Against the Eagles Defense he's had problems in the past.    The Birds won the season series 2-0. They are averaging 35 ppg against the GMen and they are only averaging 19 ppg against The Birds.    The first game was in a Blowout the next game was much closer near the end but the Birds still got it done and won the Division and #1 Seed.  Now it's for all the marbles.

I expect the GMen to gives us their best shot.  I think they do have a pretty good team but we just have too many weapons on Offense for them to stop us completely.    Also This Defense isn't Minny's D.   Minny's D underachieved all year though they had a good record.   Our D is one of the best in the NFL and the best at pressuring the QB.  GMen's Defense is pretty good as well but they do give up some points.  Giants Offense has improved but most of the year they didn't put up big points though they have recently.  All the questions about Jalen's health will also be answered as he's had many weeks to heal and get ready.   I expect the Linc to be rocking tonight.    Though the Eagles are on a 9 game winning streak at Home against the GMen and though they already beat them two times this season.   I don't believe they will take them lightly.   It's a Division Game but I feel our firepower will be too much.   Also Defense will get after Daniel and Saquon.   Birds Roll to Big Win and clean sweep while advancing to the NFC Championship Game on the 5th Anniversary of the NFC Championship against Minny.

BIRDS - 38

GMEN - 17

Jalen - Rush TD

Boston Scott - Rush TD

Miles - Rush TD

AJ Brown - TD

Devonta - TD

Jake - FG

Defense - Multiple Sacks, INT, Fumble recovery

Eagles 30

Giants 24

AJ 100 yards 2 TD.
CJG INT

sweat x2 sacks

I just hope they play aggressive and none of this vanilla playcalling trying to be too safe. If we do that we lose, the giants are no mugs.

Game today

I wake up and have 13 notifications, firstly I wanna thanks godfather, eaglephan1986, hpenis, that new guy fattires?, and Im sure I have forgot a few others, but I appreciate you people and your people too

Not saying it'll be an easy game, but it's funny to me that seemingly everyone is picking the Giants.

Underdogs again. Well hey, that's okay. Worked last time.

It seems like it’s the opposite to me.

They spent all week implying (not so subtly) that NYG was going to pull the upset, but as soon as they had to make an actual prediction, most are picking Philly to win.

Either way, I can’t wait until all of this talk gets put to rest tonight.

A lot of talk about Gannon this week, as expected. Some people like him and defend his style, and the statistics (at least for the regular season) support it.

But, I will just say this….if he doesn’t test the officiating early with press / aggressive coverage, then he deserves any criticism that comes his way.

Playoffs 101: the refs usually let them play…much more so than the regular season. You have to test that.

You simply cannot, under any circumstances, sit back and allow free releases all game…especially to these WRs.

The only time I think in the history of me not being worried was the NFCCG vs. Minnesota.  There are definitely concerns but they are all about the Eagles, not the Giants.  Is Hurts healthy and not limited?  Will Lane be healthy enough?  Will Gannon come out with some vanilla bullcrap defense that allows the Giants to dink and dunk and hold the ball?  But am I worried? No!  We are the better team at every position, playing at home with rest to get everyone as healthy as possible.

hurts health and Lanes health is key

Team record in sacks. 4 players with 10+ sacks. Team record most points scored in a season. AJ career year. DeVonta Smith breaks Eagles single-season record for catches by a wide receiver  Miles Sanders career year. Hurts MVP favorite until his injury and the one one thing I’m nervous about most are our coordinators. Make this make sense

Just over twelve hours to go. The waiting is the worst part of it. Nfl network showed the comeback against the giants in 2010 and that was great to watch and then I watched the YouTube video that someone made of using the game footage and the radio call and the remember the Titans music over it. Amazing stuff.
