The continued lack of points in the second half when they could put teams away when they should is concerning.

They have been doing it all season and are 1 win away from the SuperBowl.

I was somewhere concerned about it earlier in the season, but they seem to protect leads when they jump out quickly in the 1st half. I don’t think they will do the same thing in the playoffs if the game is close.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

The 2021 draft class was excellent last night.
Even the 2022 draft class had a competent starter at S (Blankenship).

You think that will work against KC, Buffalo or Cincy in the Super Bowl ??

The eagles up 28-7 in the 4th qtr?

Yeah I'll take my chances.

Eagles have shown they can win close games, shoot outs, grind outs air it outs and any other outs.

When they limit mistakes they're really tough to beat because they can win multiple ways

Sure it would be awesome if they put up 28 points in both halves but I'll take the win either way.

The game was replayed on NFLN. We won again.

Hoping that AJ hammy issue isn't something that will limit him next week. Hammies might just be the worst type of injury to try and play through. You think it's fine and then you plant slightly off kilter at full speed and you lose 30% of your speed in the blink of an eye, if you're not out for the rest of the game entirely. You think it's rested and tested in warm-ups but then you get into a game situation and you realize how deceiving they can be after you tweak it again.

I have it on DVR and I'll bet you everything I own they'll win every time.

So now we're taking e45s eternal pissy pessimistic stance and bishing about Jordan Davis?

Smitty dropped a key first down pass too

Where was Nakobe Dean?  Bum.

And how on earth do you give up another RZ TD?  Really something we need to button up or its going to be a really long season in 2022.

Agreed

Jason Kelce was bad snapping the ball throughout the game.

These teams have been put away. Thats why the eagles have so many wins.

They wont start taking it easy if they need to keep scoring.

I would prefer they come out and just finish them in the 3rd quarter instead of dialing back so much

And there's really nothing to suggest that he won't improve again this offseason in all categories.  Impressive player.

If there is a concern around him, it will be the inevitable loss of the OC.  I hope Siri has been on top of that.

Sure thing.  I expect he takes another step.  I didn't think he'd be able to make the step forward that he made this year which I think was the hardest one.

I think we'd all prefer that, and the other team gets paid to make half time adjustments as well, giants pulled out the kitchen sink to open up the half and still they only managed 7 points in the game.

Eagles really worked the clock in the 2nd half and basically the whole game, as they doubled the giants in TOP in the first half and for the game held the ball 10 minutes more than the giants even putting in the backups late.

At no point was the lead ever in jeopardy and most importantly eagles got out with the win relatively unscathed health wise.

I'm not nitpicking.  I just prefer a more quiet, confident approach.  Get it out of your system and then move on to the next one.  That's all.  It's not a criticism to voice a differing opinion.

I think there were a few games they weren't focused.

Are we allowed to strut here?  Or come Monday, is it all serious, quiet, and confident?

And Fields was a very competent pocket passer in college and has absolutely nothing to work with in Chicago. I don’t think what’s happened thusfar in his nfl career is properly indicative of his value moving forward. It’s a poor man’s version of Steve Young in Tampa; he’s running for his life every play. Still, Stroud is just that much better a prospect

We shall see.  Having the weapons makes a huge difference but he will still need to get the job done once he gets them.  I don't see why he shouldn't though.

Smith dropped a pass that would have extended the first drive of the second half.

If Stoll makes a block (on a shot play), we get at least a FG on the second drive.

We seal the game with an 8-minute drive on our third possession.

Please elaborate on the "dialing back" you observed.

I know they needed to sign another DT since Davis was injured, but I don’t think they would sign both if they had confidence in Davis.

I’ll have to look into the snap counts, but it sure seems like Joseph and Suh had more snaps in the games Davis was playing in.

They didn’t sign both because they doubted Davis.  They signed both because both had been sitting in their respective couches. Either or both of them could have been a swing and a miss.  Howie simply hedged his bets and signed both.  It was inexpensive insurance.

AJ came off selfish and petulant last night.

I think it was the hammy, hope it’s not serious.

And if it’s not the hammy, it’s a bad look.

There will be extreme limited tickets as all of us season ticket holders opted in for all playoff tickets. Any left will be sold out in less then a min.

Your best bet or more like only bet will be the secondary market but be prepared to pay.

Thanks death. I’ve got two calls in to season ticket holder’s. We shall see. Hey man. What are the face value of playoff tickets?

Impressive team performance yesterday. I suspect the next game will be more challenging. I rooting for the 49ers over the Cowboys.

The LJ pickup was because we needed a NT in JD’s absence, the Suh pickup was because Fletch was playing too many snaps and was getting pushed around on running downs.

They looked great.  I don't think we could have asked for a better outcome last night.  Offense, defense, coaching.  All of it.  Hurts played smart, threw some dimes and protected himself.  Sanders was terrific.  Smith, minus the drop on the sideline was great.  Lane Johnson played at a high level considering his injury.  Defense was stellar.  Loved watching Sweat and Reddick get after it.

The Eagles IMO, are the best team in the NFC.  With that being said, The Cowboys beat them once, albeit without Hurts and the 49ers have a very, very good team.  Both of those teams are tough matchups.

The Eagles wiped the Giants and swept them 3 out of 3.  They should be proud and on cloud 9 feeling extremely confident.  The Giants aren't on the same level as Dallas or SF though.

But yes, for now...

Eagles are doing A LOT of barking via social media.  Great win but there are two very good teams playing today who are going to be just as hungry next weekend.  Hope the Eagles aren't too busy smelling themselves.  Next weeekend won't be easy no matter the opponent.  You beat the Giants with ease and we're all happy but let's calm down a bit and stay focused.

Ironic thing is I couldn’t really find Suh yesterday
