I've always liked Dak, he's a stand up human, I really liked him coming out of college.

Was sad when he was drafted to the cowboys, would rather he went to AFC or an out of division team.

His OC didn't do him any favors against the niners and Pollard getting hurt really hurt their chances.

Some talk after the loss  by fans about trying to trade Dak, he was definitely pretty inconsistent this year.

Dallas sucking though is always a good thing but like I said as a human Dak is alright.

Me too. Good dude. But i root hard against him as a player. I hope they keep him, and he continues to struggle on the field.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Random stats Ive seen:. Hurts was blitzed on 44% of his drop backs.

The Eagles pressured Jones on 44% of his dropbacks.

Big difference with the front 4 getting it done on their own

I hardly noticed Thibodeaux all game.  I’d be curious how many snaps he was against Lane and how many against Mailata.  Great job by both

Kudos to Temple.

Knocking off Houston.

Two blocked shots in the final seconds.

Good weekend for Philly sports

Nope. No kudos but a heck of a game.  With Kansas losing too there was a shake up in the rankings.  UH slid to third and Purdue is the new #1. Alabama has a well deserved #2 ranking.

There was a lot of bad in the Cowboys/49ers game, but I keep thinking of this play

Yeah.  I don’t mind him though.  Better than Buck.  It was nice listening to him during the Phillies run as well.

Ya true he wasn’t bad at all.

Equally pathetic and uncalled for. "Your mom” jokes were funny when you were 7. You then go one step further and after being told his mom passed, you make a necrophilia joke? Absolutely tasteless comment. Shame on you.

Yeah sure dude.

You and a few others are fine with saying all sorts of tasteless stuff but mom jokes you draw the line?

You know how many posters on this board have made fun of my religion and Insinuated I have multiple wives and  talk about me or them having sex with them.

Is that ok because it takes more than a 7 year old to come up with the complexity of those comments?

When was the last time you called out another poster for ripping on my religion and wife?

Never, so save your virtue signaling for Sunday.

Relax Nancy you take this place too seriously I believe is the next line...😒

Speaking of that show, Skip Bayless got more calls to be fired for an innocuous tweet than Shannon Sharp did for starting crap at an NBA game. Shows you how someone's agenda will blind them of reason.

(Neither should have been fired)

But you will be impressed when Hurts beats Daniel Jones and Brock Purdy, correct ??

So now it’s QB vs QB instead of the actual team or defense the QB plays?

You are so triggered that you’ve been horrifically wrong about Hurts - it’s beyond pathetic the way you just keep mouthing off - and being wrong over and over and over again.

As much as I detest skip I agree, I didn't really get what the big deal with his comment was.

I think people are so used to him saying immflamatory stuff that they always assume everything he says is.

Meanwhile Shannon is starting fights at NBA games and not a peep from those same people that ripped skip🤷‍♂️

The Eagles NFC Championship Wins Totals:

 1980: 20-7

 2004: 27-10

 2017: 38-7

When the Birds win the NFC Championship, it's normally in dominating fashion.    In the 4 Losses the Rams game was close only lost by 5 Points, The Carolina game only lost by 11 points and the Cardinals game only lost by 7 points. Tampa was our only really bad loss (Though Carolina was bad too but the defense did enough to win).   So when the Birds get to the NFC Championship for the most part it's either a blow out or close game.   Hoping for the Birds to get their 4th NFC Championship Win on Sunday.

I pointed out that Allen has won a playoff game in 3 different seasons.

The response I got was who the opposing QB's were.

So I responded to the response.

The fox broadcast was so bad, it was on cbs' level. The camera angles were weird in the 1st half and several times they missed the beginning of plays becasue they were doing a replay. I barely heard any crowd noise, but the way Sirianni was acting I feel the crowd was pumped since he seems to feed off that.

Yea, the cameraman was confused a few times too who had the ball.

When have I ever said anything tasteless on here? Go find it. Please.

And it’s not virtue signaling when you’re stating that making fun of someone’s dead mother and insinuating necrophilia is up there with the worst thing I’ve ever read on here.

You should be embarrassed and judging by your reply to me, you are but you’re disguising it with deflections.

I'd argue those that glorify the rich have an infantile view of the world.

That is neither here nor there though.

Go eagles!

Who here is glorifying the rich? Why don’t you answer the actual question?

And they are stuck with him fo 2 more years at a minimum.

$30mil dead cap if they were to let him go after this season.  So, yeah, Dak is gonna be Bak.

Someone gonna be the scapegoat for this loss yesterday?  McCarthy?

Just wanted to comment on how impressive Smith is as a blocker.

He has really embraced the challenge.  What a phenomenal player.

He's blossomed this year in a big way.  I think he's benefitted from having AJ Brown around.  The funny thing is that I can see Devonte surpassing AJ Brown as a football player, too.

Last 17 seasons...

The Cowboys get two top-ten quality QBs for almost no draft capital (Romo-UDFA, Dak-4th round). Only 8 playoffs.  Only 4 playoff wins.

The Eagles get first-round pick McNabb's final seasons, invest a second in Kolb, sign Vick, invest a third in Foles, a first in Wentz, and a second in Hurts. 10 trips to the playoffs.  8 playoff wins.  Three trips to the NFCCG.  And one Lombardi.

A front office has to work very hard to not succeed with that kind of QB luck.

Allen is a good QB - likely among the top young QB’s in the league.  The fact that you still refuse to put Hurts among those top young QB’s shows your stubbornly mistaken bias.

Tye 49ers have a very good defense this year - among the best.  If you continue to discount this team’s opponents because of your bias - well that’s on you - so expect others to continue to discount your mistaken opinion.

Uh oh, Stefon Diggs is pissed at Josh Allen?  He was yelling at Josh Allen on the sideline, then grabbed all his stuff and sprinted out of the locker room before everyone was there.

Didn’t he do the same sort of stuff in Minnesota which led to him being traded?

Would people take a SB win and see a lot of our talent leave? CGJ, bradberry, white, epps etc etc leaving us with a much poorer team next year and then see us fail to make the play offs?

Or lose the next game and keep the best for another playoff run next year?

The premise of this question is all wrong. If one listens to the comments of CJGJ for instance, winning and having fun doing it is #1 on most players’ desires.  Would having a SB win increase CJGJ’s market value? Or Hargrave’s market value? Or Bradberry’s market value? I don’t think it will.  Further, the likelihood of increased endorsement revenues is much greater in the town where a Super Bowl was won.  I am sure Howie has had discussions with companies that would be inclined to offer those kinds of endorsement opportunities to Eagles players.  Total combined revenue both under the cap and beyond the cap (the NZFL equivalent of NIL)is what players and their agents will be looking at.
