Youre getting me mixed up with the other poster.  I have no problem discussing the opposing teams' QB because Allen hasnt really done jack squat.

Hes beaten a bunch of Daniel Joneses, basically.

And Im not sure how Im being emotional about this.  Like 3 weeks ago I said Allen was basically a pre-ACL Carson Wentz.  Hes fun to watch but totally overrated right now.

Allen is streaky.  More like a Nick Foles than a Wentz.  Good runner nd a cannon for an arm but his turnovers this season were pretty bad.

But let’s face it, the Bills defense is what one against mediocre QBs and were exposed by Burrows.  Meanwhile, the Bills offense had to deal with a pretty stout Bengals D.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Wow dude, maybe you should cut back seems it's affected your ability to discern subtlety.

I'll spell it out nice and clear for you, maybe I should print it on a bag of Cheetos.

I didn't answer the question because it's not TATE related and because 4for4 cares more about starting a fight than he does the answer.

Believe me I know, he's my best friend on the board, ask him, me and him are like peas and carrots.

There’s plenty of off topic discussions in here. YOU brought up Bezos with some vague statement of disliking him, so be an adult and explain yourself. Or keep making dumb jokes. I don’t care anymore, you obviously have no interest in actual discussion, just lame 4th grade insults that aren’t even funny (if they were funny, I’d at least give you some respect)

Bills defense was #1 in yards and points last year, and then melted down in the playoffs.

I think the gap between Mahomes and everybody else is Grand Canyon sized

I mostly agree, but if Burrow can bounce the Chiefs again he will significantly close it. Still wouldn't put him over Mahomes though. Would need another 2 more years of Burrow playing at this level with Mahomes somehow not.

Mahomes

Burrow (Close 2nd, but only because Mahomes has been playing at a high level longer)

Allen

Herbert

Hurts

Lawrence

VERY close to what I have too.

I think the way Allen plays makes him not that high. His longetvityh is now questionable. All of those hits are going to take a toll on him. Plus he needs to work on the turnovers and just taking what the defense gives. Keeps forcing. Honestly reminded me of Wentz

I didn't get to watch Lawrence much at all this season

Herbert had team problems but still put up nice numbers

I'm surprised you have Burrow close to Mahomes

Burrow still needs 15 more starts to get to that 57 game threshold of eliteness.

I didn't bring up bezos, I was responding to a post another poster made about bezos potentially buying the Washington team, keep up.

You don't care? Says the guy who is 10 posts in demanding I explain what he doesn't care about🤔.

4th grade? I was told mom jokes were reserved for 7 year olds, I think that's 2nd or 3rd grade, so I'll take 4th grade.

Makes me horribly sad that you don't like my 7 year old jokes, I was trying to impress you I now see how ive failed, would you like one of my wives? Saturday is already accounted for but I think Monday And Wednesday are still on the table?

If not maybe go take your dog for a walk smoke a joint and chill out, you take this place too serious...

Maybe pay attention and you would know these things.

You are to emotional.  If you look at it objectively, as we currently stand.

Josh Allen has playoff wins in the 2020, 2021 and 2022 season.

Jalen Hurts has 1 playoff win over Daniel Jones.

Now assuming what should happen, Hurts will be 2-1 and have a Super Bowl appearance on his resume next Monday.

Allen is 4-4, but has to go through Mahomes and Burrow, who are both top 5 QB's in the NFL.

Now, if things go the other way, we could be discussing next Monday Hurts being 1-2 in the playoffs.

How would you look at the big picture if Brock Purdy goes into Philly and somehow gets a win against the #2 defense, when Hurts, who is the far superior QB, could not beat the #1 defense at home ??

Your disdain for Hurts just because of RTK or is it innate? You’re pretty much RTK, just with the opposite take. What does Brock Purdy have to do with Hurts’ play on the field? Really grasping at straws here. I was wrong about him too, buddy. I got over it week 3 or so. The guy can play. Sometimes we are wrong about crap. It’s really ok

Well now that you've open that up... who are your top 5 QBs in the league?

As of today:

1.  Burrow

2. Mahomes

3. Hurts

4. Rogers

5. Allen.

So just to clarify, this is if you had some imaginary league where each guy has the exact same roster of average players.  You just drop them into the QB1 slot and see which teams comes out on top.

Additionally, this time last year Id have had Hurts at like 20.

Burrow is just a stud and guys will follow him, he is the Bengals, period.

Mahomes goes without saying, I value his mobility more than his arm talent, actually.

Hurts has proven himself.  Yes, it includes his legs. But you can't just negate that factor. Maybe he flames out like Lamar Jackson.

Rogers still has it, but his team is ish and so he does peyote all offseason.  Drop him into an average team and theyd still win.

Allen is right there, but hes got to stop killing his teams chances to win close games.  Not everything can be a blowout.

I hope Allen finally realizes he needs to chill the hell out and not play hero ball, something Wentz couldn't do. He really needs an OC that will get on him about this.

Burrow is only in his 3rd year of the NFL, had a win against the Chiefs in the AFCCG in his 2nd year, has played in a SB, and is on his way to another AFCCG. If Burrow can knock the Chiefs off again and then win the SB, I believe he would be very close to Mahomes with only 3 years in the league. A lot easier said, but he has the opportunity there.

Mahomes was basically dropped into an average roster this year and obliterated all other QBs.

In fairness, he's a step-and-a-half from being pulverized there.

Also the other LB, Greenlaw, was getting good depth making it harder for him to see the receiver and make that throw. I think he thought CeeDee would make the catch and he probably would have if Dak had better placement on the ball.

That's an interesting thought. I agree about Rodgers still having it. Packers just haven't been a SB team for awhile

Theyve got a great scheme, good offensive HC, the greatest receiving TE of all time, and a pretty good defense in an abhorrent division.

Im just not one of these "woow Mahomes is a god" guys...I think Burrow is better straight up.

And btw, Herbert and Lawrence over Hurts is disrespectful man.

I was on vacation. Watched the divisional round on a cruise ship but was set to fly back Sunday morning in time to watch the game, until the flight was canceled. I remember looking through a phone book with my dad to find a hotel and sports bar, and chose some place in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area. We pulled up to two giant Eagle inflatables and a huge watch party, having no idea the place we chose was owned by some guy who was from Philly. I knew that was a sign we were winning that game.

I don't get the Bills

They know every year if they get in the playoffs and get a home game theyre going to play in the snow or ice or really cold conditions so naturally what do they do.

Build their offense on a precision high octane passing game.

No mashers no sledders, just a bunch of tiny shift guys whose tiny shiftiness is totally neutralized by the weather.

If they thought Josh Allen was their masher then we'll he's a QB and those type of and generally last a few seasons before running down.

They need to rebuild that team to fit it's environment.

Love diggs but he's a precise quick twitch route runner, all that ability to stop on a dime and create separation was totally destroyed by the slippery conditions.

Guys like AJ brown who win with size and power are more suited for snow games.

All their RBs are small shifty guys not one masher on that roster, where as Mixon at 225+was mashing all game.

I don't know just seems if I'm a cold weather team and it's cold in the playoffs I'd build my team better suited for cold weather

I have absolutely no disdain for Hurts, and have given him his due in countless threads, countless times.  Has nothing to do with RTK, I am a free thinker and develop my opinions regardless of what anyone else has to say.

It is Monday, game is not for 6 days, someone engaged me in a discussion, on a discussion board, so I am having a discussion that is very relevant.

There is nothing about my facts in that post that are not factual, and then I provided a scenario about Hurts losing to Purdy.

Can we not have a discussion without emotions getting involved ??
