Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I'd be quite happy with this haul...

So we know @Godfather works at a high school in Illinois

So from Dane brugler’s mock draft on the athletic

10. Philadelphia Eagles (via New Orleans): Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State

With James Bradberry likely to get paid elsewhere this offseason, the Eagles will be looking to address the cornerback position. Joey Porter Jr., the son of a former Pro Bowler, is a long and physical (sometimes, too physical) athlete with the cover skills that might land him in the top 10.

31. Philadelphia Eagles: Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas

The last time the Eagles drafted a running back in the first round, Ron Jaworski was Philadelphia’s starting quarterback. But Bijan Robinson is one of the best talents in this draft class and would be a bargain with the final pick of Round 1. The Texas running back has no business falling this far. There just aren’t too many clear landing spots within the top 30 picks.

63. Philadelphia Eagles: Derick Hall, Edge, Auburn

With three picks in the first two rounds, Eagles GM Howie Roseman is going to draft at least one pass rusher, right? Here, Derick Hall goes from War Eagle to Philadelphia Eagle.

I’m surprised to see Tucker that low in Brugler’s RB rankings. That’s a helluva group of RBs.

I am too when i saw it. I really like tucker. I’d he falls to the 4-5th round I’d love to nab him.

Them winning the SB has changed me.  That and getting older.  I used to get so amped up and nervous before big games and then so deflated if they lose.  Not as much anymore.

That said, they better win Sunday.

Agreed. The combo of that Super Bowl and the 2008 Phillies (should have been 2009 too).

No Chase Brown. Did he stay in school?

I just don't see the Eagles breaking from grabbing a player from both lines. I wouldn't be surprised with OT/DT/DE

Unless he changed his mind, he turned pro. Good catch on him not being on the list.

These morons keep thinking the eagles will draft a RB in the first.  Yeesh.

0% chance.

Top 3 picks will be some combo of dline, oline, and secondary.

As a PSU fan I’m not 100% sold on Joey Porter jr. Definitely seems like a system CB that needs to be on a defense primarily that runs cover 2.

Good player but 10 overall seems a bit high for a CB that’s going struggle in man coverage vs NFL WRs… IMO

hes good and we run a lot of cover 2.

Get the best player available at a reasonable position (AKA not RB and not something we obviously cannot use at all).

All things being equal, I want young explosive talent on the right side of the OL so we can stop holding our collective breath every time Lane Johnson grimaces.  That is THE single biggest threat to the functionality and winning ways of this team right now and for next year.

Beyond that, sure, I want an edge rusher.  Who doesn't?  But Maddox can't be relied on and Slay and Bradberry are old with between 1-3 combined years left in Eagles green between the 2 of them.  So means we pretty much need to add a young CB to the mix.

I know I'm being premature and unfair and all that...but we are all entitled to our premature opinions.  And I don't think Davis is going to pan out.  I don't think the staff is going to be comfortable assuming he can step into a bigger role next year.  I think they are going to want at least 2 DTs on the depth chart ahead of him.  So that thrusts DT into the picture for the draft too.

Wouldn't shock me in the slightest to see a pick like Broderick Jones or Anton Harrison late in RD1 or early RD2 in a trade down scenario.

Top OL backup and eventual Lane replacement

I'm guessing McPhearson is no good since he can't get on the field at all.  Maybe there is hope that Jobe turns out to be a good player.

Yeah Howie doesn't have the best track record when it comes to drafting CBs.  In his defense it's probably the hardest position to draft outside of QB.

He's better off trading for a proven CB like he did with Slay.

Snowball's chance in heck, but I'd love to see both Bradberry and Gardner-Johnson re-signed.

Restock the DL in the draft.

Alot of DTs I like in this draft.

Bresee in RD1

Young from Bama in late RD2 or RD3 possibly

Smith from Michigan in RD3

I know they drafted Davis last year, and I'm not giving up on him yet. But you let both Hargrave and Cox go the way of FA and you need to replenish the well.

If the Bills left Bijan Robinson on the board at their pick, Brandon Beane should be fired before they’re back on the clock.

Josh Allen needs to be curtailed on his running and his red zone INTs need to go away.  He’s trying to do way too much and needs another dynamic player to help him out.

Maher is Einhorn. Einhorn is Maher 🤮🤮🤮
