Yeah this is just like that Thursday night game vs an average Seattle team.  Good thing theyre prepared.

I don’t know fellas. I’m definitely a scurredy cat but teams have come into the LINC and won this game before so who knows if Shanahan is right?

He wins if the Eagles score more points than SF.

Conversely, he loses if SF scores more points than Philly

This is a pretty good 49ers team.  They (basically) have been blowing teams out since Purdy.  (I think the Cowboys game was one of their closest wins).

That said, I'm cautiously optimistic - if we play our best, mistake free football - plus the home crowd (12th man) - I like our chances. 

I heard an interview with Joe Person, Panthers reporter for the Athletic, on why Frank Reich was chosen over some of the other candidates.  He said some of the less experienced interviewees like Steichen or Kellen Moore came to the interview with a 'wish list' of a coaching staff "I think I can get this coach", where Reich came to the interview with his staff lined up -- "I have these coaches, they're coming with me; I've already spoken to them"

Ryan Harris said on NFL Radio last night that Payton "interviewed poorly"; it wasn't just that he had conflict with one of the ownership group.  Right now, he's not even getting call backs for second interviews with other teams.

In a job interview it matters 0 percent what the candidates perspective is; it matters 100% what the employer's perspective is.

If he interviewed poorly it doesn't matter which version is correct.
