Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Yes and yes of course.

Those ducks deep look especially delicious. WE WILL snag one of those.  You can't float against our d backs.

I felt this way since watching ourdy down the stretch and in the postseason, he doesn’t remind me of 2017 Nick Foles. Because 2017, Nick Foles was trending downward after the rams game before the playoffs, played up and down against Atlanta and then just played like the best player on the planet against the Vikings and the patriots.

Brock Purdy is playing more like 2013 Nick Foles. where Nick Foles was still really good and making a lot of plays and throws. But there were a lot of throws Nick made in 2013 that opposing defenses dropped. I don’t remember the analytics on his percentage of throws that should’ve been intercepted but it should’ve been way more than 2. I feel like purdy is in the same boat.

and he'll not make the play, rather have paschal

Paschal is like half a notch upgrade from Greg Ward.

It's the way it should be when you're good....the AR / McNabb days caused this fanbase to be way too scared of every big game.

Yes. 52 erased all that.  Winners win, baby.

So Gannon should be fired because the Eagles special teams stunk early in the year?

Yeah, that’s a completely logical take.

I’m an idiot. I was looking at the run defense numbers and just conflated a couple of posts.

I agree with the sentiment that you should run at this D, rather than around it - but yeah, the mismatch is our WRs versus their secondary.  Stretch them out passing, get Hufanga out of the box and then run.

The answer is both. That's the beauty of it.  We HAVE to beat them up so you must run at them.  And you have to take your deep shots.  And guess what?  You are going to love the next part.  We are GREAT at both.

Says a lot on how bad Watkins is

Anyone else feel like we're going to win fairly easily? I could be dead wrong, but in my gut I just feel a 27-17 type of game.

It will be 27-10 w 2 minutes left in the 3rd, followed by trading 7s in the 4th.  According to my dream from 2 nights ago. Just saying.

Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure Niners fans feel like they’re going to win easily too.

I have a die hard, intelligent Niners fan in my office and we talk all day.

They put all the stock in their D.  Definitely worried if they can score TDs on Philly.  Worried about the Rookie on the road but put stock in his record (which you have to respect).  Not so happy to learn of the HUGE sack differential. Not so happy to compare lines.  Nervous a bit.

He is a solid player. Calm yourself

No, disagree, he doesn’t fight for the ball,

Quite the takeover lol

I have had more people in my yard at times.  Yawn.

I remember the blowout in Dallas in, 04 (Mcnabb's 97 second scramble and toss lol).  Eagles fans took over MANY bars with thousands of people.  I drove off a curb (sober) right in front of 20 cops and they ignored me as I was the least of their worries.  F'd that car up pretty badly. G-d bless insurance.

24 long hours. It's going to drag. Time to start drinking.

Is anyone concerned about kern's almost blocked punts?

Not really

He’s fast and can get open. Solid #4 option in the pass game.

Gotta say this is at the very bottom of the list of things that have crossed my mind

No, it’s not.  You don’t let a dangerous team hang around while you set them up for the second half.  You jump on them early and often, take away their running game and force Purdy to throw.   You also negate their pass rush by having a lead and dictating to their defense, instead of being one dimensional having to pass yourself.

You are focusing on one small portion of the whole assessment. My own perspective is that if the Eagles execute the details that a fan has laid out what you are looking for is precisely what will happen it’s a consequence of doing the small things, right

@LeanMeanGM idk if I added my prediction yet but 9ers 16 Eagles 27

Bonus: DeVonta 100+ and a TD

Feels like many months since Slay has had a pick. No better time than tomorrow.

Ward/Whiteside combo

@LeanMeanGM  34-17 Eagles

Hurts with 3 TDs. Purdy with 3 turnovers.

Xfinity sold out. They had a Giants rally last weekend too.

Also "brave” lmao. How soft.

Makes me want to boycott Xfinity live in Philly going forward. They should take more pride in the city they are in. Im sure they would have been just fine getting people in the building that were Birds fans.

Yea, it’s weird, especially being almost in the Linc parking lot. If rival fans want to meet up there, fine. Don’t work with them to throw full on rally parties though.
