Maybe SF gets knocked off next week? Anything can happen and if it’s the Packers I could certainly see it happening.

there's still a lot to improve upon however, the Eagles do have a bye week to work on it.

Depending on how things go they might have the Eagles as underdogs. Guess we’ll just have to see.

If the Eagles first playoff game is against the Giants do you think they would be underdogs at home? đŸ˜‚

The fact that you think we prepared the same way for this game that we would a playoff game, tells me all I need to know about your opinion.

and your blind faith in this coaching staff tells me everything I need to know about your assessment going into the postseason

this isn't one of those games where you "find a way"...way too much on the line

the fact that Hurts and a majority of the starters had to play all 4 quarters is bad game design in itself

People are acting like those of us pissed are pissed about squeaking by Dallas playing at full strength for the one seed.

We played a literal scrub and third stringers, at home and struggled.

It's okay to not be happy about the performance.

It's fine to be unhappy about how they played but some people need to relax a little. It was clear as day they were playing super conservative and protecting Hurts.

Not likely. But if it’s Tampa or Dallas maybe. Only reason I say Tampa is because of Brady. Giants no, Detroit no, GB I feel it goes either way really.

The fact they had to protect him to that extent is concerning.

You all should not be worried about this game, as hard as that may seem. They basically played the exact same playbook as with Minshew and were playing just not to lose or get any injuries....if you know football, you should know what you were looking at. Stop panicking....its not what we, as fans, WANT to see but they had to play conservative today to prevent any injuries.....we will be ok, I promise you....

Just didn’t wanna subject him to unnecessary hits. I’m okay with that. He gets the rust off and didn’t get hurt again.

I really  just don't understand this if your post is about the Eagles.  What a miserable way to be a fan and watch football.

Is it? Or is it just smart. They knew they needed him because he's a much much better QB than Minshew. But they didn't want to expose him to unnecessary hits. If he was 100% healthy I still think that's the right approach.

Honestly what worries me more is the fact that they still don’t want to run the ball. 35 passes to 25 rushes. Just keep running the ball as long as it is working.

I'm not going overboard bud. I'm just saying SF looked good today but they were playing a bad team. And like you say they now need to play next week.

We absolutely needed the rest. This shouldn’t have had to happen if they played better against the Saints. Hurts looked rusty, but he also looked like he didn’t want to be touched hardly at all. I’m more concerned with that. Is he still hurt? Will he be fully ready after the bye week? That’s a bigger issue, because the Eagles playing so conservative means either Jalen still isn’t quite ready or the Eagles we’re bluffing all game. If he’s not right after the bye this team is in trouble so we will see.

And they lost 2 straight and  were holding on for dear life against a team of backups with nothing to play for The team is f'ing bad dude. Specifically in the coaching department

I wouldn’t call it holding on for dear life.  They ran a preseason vanilla offense today and if not for stalling inside the 10 four times this game would have been over at the half.  Jalen didn’t run a single rpo, they didn’t really run their offense especially in the red zone.   If jalen didn’t have the invisible fence collar on today and he ran like he usually does there’s nothing close about it.

14 wins.  1st round bye.  And you’re Fing crying about it.  Go call Angelo Cataldi and you can cry together,  you moron.

A fan I am, a cheerleader I'm not.

My HOPE is that they were bluffing and not showing their hand......kinda like poker...

I'm not worried. Every day he's getting healthier. He now has 2 weeks to rest up and get ready. He didn't want to take big hits this week because he knows that we need him to be healthy for the play offs.

Dallas got destroyed in a game they were trying to win today. đŸ˜‚ Seriously those dudes are so overrated. đŸ˜‚đŸ¤£đŸ˜‚

What are you a fan of?

My biggest concern in the playoffs is Lane being able to play effectively through his injury and stay on the field.

I think in their last 8 play off road games they are 0-8. Now they go to Tampa next week. Let's hope that extends to 0-9.
