Their oath, like any job, presupposes that their bosses will not create a hostile, or more dangerous work environment for them, as has obviously happened in Atlanta, and other cities throughout the country.,

I'm sure some will, if they haven't done so already.

Most folks will be singing a different tune if they hear a window smashed in the middle of the night, with their children sleeping in the other room...and no one shows up when they call 9-1-1. At that point most would welcome law enforcement, regardless of what they think of them.

It's a sad state of affairs, any way you look at it and I assure you that creating (even more) divisiveness will not get anything accomplished nor resolved.

Are we talking about Atlanta or generalizing this to nationally?

A link for what?  The fact that city leaders are siding with protesters assaulting cops and taking over precincts?  Pretty sure you can find it even if you try not to.

Not until the Dixie Chicks undo the great wrong created by the name of their band.

It’s only happened in Atlanta as far as I am aware, no?  (The police calling out sick)

As far as trying to move towards a humanitarian movement vs a political/divisive one,  that would be nationally, even around the world:

And I want to know why the Rhodes Scholarship continues to escape scrutiny, and maintains its unmatched distinction.  When it comes to racism and the oppression of black people, the scholarships namesake, Cecil Rhodes, is unmatched.

Senator Fulbright (who the Fulbright Scholarship is named after) was pretty racist too.  Maybe there’s something to that??

Did the sports teams change uniforms at half time?

Yes. Racism ended after Aunt Jemima got canceled. We can all go about our normal lives now.

It's not "feelings". They watched their brother officer get charged with capital murder for bringing down a armed perp. This was not a George Floyd.

I went and got my bottle. Collectors item.

Didn't say it was a Floyd. And IMO it is them getting their feelings hurt

Not really.  Pancakes and waffles may be systemically okay now but rice is still racist.

It hasn't escaped scrutiny. You just don't hear about it because nobody in America gives a crap about South Africa.

Hey a race baiter on twitter tweeted something!  War back on!

More like they’re vilified and charged with felony murder for shooting an armed suspect with a violent history out on probation after his second stint in jail for abusing children. Stfu.

It's literally their feelings were hurt but maybe you should walk away from the convo as well

They shouldn't walk off. Goes against whatever oath they took and what they believe in.

Agreed.
