I was disappointed after the loss to the Bucs and Brady but I was on to college basketball. I honestly didn’t think we would be here this year. Pretty much a retool on offense and defense has a bunch of rookies. But yet here we are. I have gone back and forth for two weeks. The game will basically come down to mahomes ankle, and how he can handle line pressure. If it’s good 80% or above we will score plenty and it will be a close game. If not well it could be bad. Cheffers and his regular crew together are flag happy. His all-star playoff crew has been less so. He threw a an on-target deep ball to Watkins but Lenoir had very good coverage and got a hand in there to knock it away. I think there was another one that was blanket double coverage and he pushed it well past the WR and out of bounds to avoid a pick or intentional grounding. There were also 15 mph winds (no idea if they were gusting or more or less intense on the field). You can better gauge the wind when one team does not have Shanahan sacrificing his own QBs so you get to see both QBs trying to throw often into conditions. Our line was a sieve due to injury. We had 3rd stringers playing out of position. It was a complete embarrassment. I was watching the Eagles vs Giants week 18 game the other day. Who kills a TD run with a ticky tacky holding penalty? Fing Cheffers… This mofo.
