We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

As the 9th pick in the draft, anyone that thinks Carter isn’t a target for litigation in a wrongful death action is naive. No offense, @NCiggles, but you and I both know some attorney is already targeting Carter for a settlement.

I think UGA has a bigger problem... was it their employee driving the other car whilst ~2.0.

Manifesting DJ Turner available at 62.

The corner talent that is still available right now is insane.

Jalin Hyatt?  Need to cause a little shock at some point.

Yup, I was actually looking at that just now. Multiple sites using best available corners. There’s a ton of really good corners. I’m guessing there’s gonna be a run from mid round 2 to mid round 3. I kind of have a feeling that corner is likely going to have the most talent available to the eagles when we get to pick 62. Probably have 2-3 guys they like. I tend to see Torrence and Avila the guards being long gone before 62. I also wouldn’t be shocked if OT jones, Bergeron go higher than we think due to it being a weaker tackle class.

Civil lawsuit against Carter who didn’t wreck, crash, or drive the car of the deceased? Not gonna happen.

they dont need a slot. They have St. Brown. They needed a big outside WR like Johnston. They are dumb.

St. Brown can kick outside, though.  He's not the one-dimensional sloth that JSN is.

I'm not arguing that Gibbs wasn't a reach and the Lions aren't dumb.  Both are very true.  The Lions made two terrible picks from a value standpoint.  I'm just saying now that the bad pick is made, it's the logical move to play Gibbs out of the slot.

JSN can play outside too though. Y’all acting like he’s Wes Welker.

I still dont think its logical. Hes a RB. If they wanted a WR there are a bunch of actual WRs who would be better.

Very happy with the 1st round. Never imagined we get both Carter and Smith.

Eagles are in nickel a good portion of the time, though.  Maddox gets more than 75% of the snaps when he's healthy.

Take Morrow off the field then? Or Davis and go 4 DL.

100% perfect first round. Tonight we have the chance at snagging 2 more top 50ish non-QBs.

For those who play madden, will it even be possible for an opponent to even get a pass off without getting sacked when playing against the eagles?

Civil litigation is only part of the reason you don't publicly show "contrition" and take blame in the media.  He also has a constitutional right to remain silent and against self incrimination.  Which is why Reub's statement about him not being accountable in a Zoom interview with media while there is an active investigation is even more idiotic.

The best line about the Lions draft was that they walked into a steakhouse and ordered a burger.

5 DL, 1 LB, 5 DBs.

I like swift the player and talent. Because he gives you pass catching ability and his dynamic in between the tackles. The issue is you already have Penny who doesn’t stay healthy. Not sure you want to bring another back into that committee that also tends to get banged up and not stay healthy. I’m guessing it probably wouldn’t cost a whole lot to get him but having two backs that aren’t the epitome of health seems like you could wind up being back to gainwell by week 6-7

Nah. They ordered chicken nuggets.

I'd like to get one player with question marks but very high end talent at either OT or CB.  If they manage both, that's being greedy, but great.  Then ideally, an elusive RB.

I'd ban Rueb from all Eagles related media availability until he makes a public apology.

He can be a scumbag but he's not owed access.

I wouldn’t doubt somebody will give it a try, but I agree the argument is flimsy.

They spent 20 bucks for the water that they added the sugar packets and a squeeze of lemon.

Cheap 1-year deal essentially for a late draft pick sure. Maybe there’s a player they’d want to take off our hands.

Could be a good burger, but they paid $25 for it.
