We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

So, should the Eagles keep picks 62 and 66 and try to hit four home runs with this draft, or trade down with one of them to try to spread things out a bit with no picks currently from 67 until 219? I've got to be honest, I'm not against the idea of four picks in the top 66 and trying to get four legit starters out of this draft.

Because it's not Bijan

If they can move up for Branch or Torrence I think they should do it. If not, depends on who’s there but could explore moving down. I wouldn’t move down 15 spots to pick up only like a 4th though.

Notice Nolan called Howie "Coach"

Not a fan of Florio at all but to hear him say that UGA coaches didn't like Carter at all is reason 1 why I didn't want him.

My response to that would be that they sure as hell played him a lot for not liking him. And he was dominant on the field for them.

Maybe they saw even more potential but at the end of the day hes like Shaq. Shaq could have been even better than he was but still an all time great.  Youd never not draft Shaq because he hadnt lived up to his potential.  Youd just accept that hes dominant and take that to the bank.

I will say, though, that if he struggles on the field it could get ugly for him quick.  Hes gotta perform.

Not trying to be negative but I think all the talk about Georgia coaches not being Jalen Carter fans is the far bigger concern over the driving incident and pro day laziness.

The Georgia coaches hated Jalen Carter so much that they never suspended him and started him even when he was injured.

I think it's this simple -- he's so talented, he didn't have to push himself to dominate. Coaches were frustrated because they know he can be even better.

The hope is our locker room and the increased competition make him step up his work.

The best line about the Lions draft was that they walked into a steakhouse and ordered a burger.

We had a good friend from Wilmington visit us in NorCal and we took her to Chez Panisse … she ordered spaghetti … and then complained that it wasn’t as good as Scalessas.

I forget the year, it was either 2019 or 2021, but I remember the setup was so bad that they had the panelists like directly next to the band and you could barely hear anything. It was just constant shouting over songs the whole night.

I appreciated that the green room was a bit closer to the stage than the draft in Chicago where they were in the penthouse of a skyscraper hotel 2 towns away, had to travel down a slow elevator to the basement, ender a secret underground tunnel, catch a subway, go up to street level and climb on board a gondola exit on to an airport people mover, grab some cross country skis and 2 miles later arrived at the stage for the big goodell hug. It took friggin forever for the prospects to get out there.

Marks and Reese are not complaining about the picks that’s a very poor representation. They both said the Eagles did a great job, all they said was Carter is not a lock for character reasons and Smith fell for a reason. But they both thought the Eagles did a very good job.

Oh, so they're stupid. Got it.

Don't live in the area, never heard the show.

I'd like to get one player with question marks but very high end talent at either OT or CB.  If they manage both, that's being greedy, but great.  Then ideally, an elusive RB.

At CB that player would be TCU’s Noah Daniel’s.  At OL it would be Andrew Vorhees.

Was the opinion of the coaches formed before or after the accident? I am sure they were upset with him after the accident, which has caused them all kinds of headaches and came after he was done winning games for them. But they certainly weren't upset enough about his behavior to bench him when they were playing meaningful games.

Garrett Williams is the CB.

He would be good too.

That's probably a pretty good read on it, but its going to be an uphill battle at the next level if his approach doesn't change. I think the gamble is perfectly fine for what he can be and if he can dominate on the field who cares, but it does cause some PTSD from past players in similar situations.

Happy about Nolan Smith, but was really hoping we’d get Deonte Banks. Think NYG got a good player there. Can’t wait to sign him 3 years from now because Giants won’t have enough money to pay him

Idk might be some better value on the board later in the draft with some other moms. Gonna need to go to our milf draft expert Zach Wilson to breakdown those prospects

By the way, I brought up McIntoah recently.

I think for any of you who really wanted Gibbs, McIntosh is your next best in that mold.

He is a good runner with excellent burst. And caught 43 passes for 505 yards last year.

And, hes from Georgia.

I have sights set on a more physical back to complement what we have. But McIntosh has a pretty well rounded skillset who could potentially develop in to an every down back.

As soon as I finally paid attention to him he quickly moved high on my list of favorites. Wouldnt be shocked if he gets picked tonight (whether by us or someone else). Hes largely been slept on in the media, but hes good.

Slow 40, and not really a N-S between the tackles guy. Not saying he's awful, just saying I think there are better targets late.

In response to my post, I'm now up to 3 different names at CB and 3 different names at OL.

That's a good thing.  Seems like it can be accomplished.

I feel like its shaping up like another top heavy draft like last year last year.  If it happens again next year I'll be certain it is by design.

Best part is there's a better than 50% chance he Tweeted that from the toilet.
