I don’t think either of them will be available at 188.

Holy hell man, I had no idea you were that old. Can you tell us all the story of how dirt was invented?

Only compost.  Dirt was before my time.

I don’t dislike the pick at all. I just dislike the makeup of our safety room.

How would you like the makeup of the Safety room to change?

Personally the only known to be available move I’d have done differently would have been to sign John Johnson over Edmunds. But I think Brown is going to quickly become a Philly fan favorite, and a starter. We love our safeties here, and he has that attitude and work ethic (not to mention his high end athleticism and knack for the football) that we love here.

Wonder if Eagles take a punter.

He had a Hum-V the last time I saw him … and a turn your head and wolf whistle wife.  Beast doesn’t do anything half way …!except for punctuation and capitalization. 🤫🤫🤫

If that guy has a hot wife, she’s either churning butter in her onesie, or someone on here needs to call 911 immediately.  @EaglePhan1986 volunteers.

We need LB more than RB.  Fight me 🙂

Tennessee Jeremy Banks - was LB and RB for the Vols

8.96 ras

we have 4 picks now instead of 2.
mock draft database has him as udfa 267. There's a good chance he'd be available in the 7th.

Like does he have a car?

The Sydney Brown rankings are all over the place. Jeremiah had him pretty high. Brugler had him much lower. Zierlein had him rated behind several prospects and called him "stiff hips" who's a backup.

Bo Wulf noted safety seems a position the NFL tends to have trouble getting right, so we'll see who's right in the end. Still think they could add a free agent for depth so Brown doesn't have to compete for a starting spot as a rookie.

Uh huh?

I broke the dam.

Could very easily see this playing out tomorrow…errr, tonight.

The biggest thing is I would like to have a safety who can play well in single high. I think we have a bunch of strong safety types who are best the closer they get to the LOS. Evans is the closest thing we have to a FS, but he might be more of a backup nickel.

This is not an indictment of Brown as a prospect or his future with the Eagles. It’s just about how the 2023 safety room fits. I think Brown will be a fine player as long as he cleans up his tackling.

Pretty wild to think that we likely came away with three or four future starters so far. The draft broke damn well for Howie.

We got 4 likely major contributors through 2 days.

Now I'm all for upside athletes.

Demus, Witt, Thompson-Robinson...

And a RB.

the Eagles have 4 picks now instead of 2, and that's twice as many picks to get Witt and Thompson-Robinson.

If Thompson-Robinson is gone, I'd like Malik Cunningham or Adrian Martinez.

Someone suggested that there are too many picks for the roster.  I wouldn't mind Jake Witt on practice squad.  Wasn't Mailata on practice squad or IR?

here's ras compare of adrian martinez v jeremy banks as QBs

Jeremy Banks v Gus Edwards as RB. Very similar.

I’d still like for the eagles to sign John Johnson and Kareem hunt after the draft.

a safety who can play well in single high.  would a tall cb 6'2 6'3 who runs 4.3 do that?

4 picks in the last 2 rounds.  The Eagles could get a tall fast high ras S or CB. That former Georgia Bulldog Speed would probably be available in the 7th or there could be another who falls like Rush.  Or others.

Got a roob type of stat, the eagles have drafted 4 jalen’s in the last 8 drafts.

Brown has the speed, agility, play awareness, and ball skills to play single high. You keep classifying him as a box safety. He isn’t.

so you were able to get those players in the mock draft, it appears, I'll take Dorian and Witt, and I'm good enough with the other 2.

also yes to 6'4 4.37   9.85 ras Matt Landers.   Even if he couldn't catch at all, he could do the decoy work that Quez does.

Also was a Georgia Bulldog for 3 years.

With what hunt is gonna get in FA he can be cut during camp or preseason as it’s gonna be peanuts and likely no guaranteed money.

Why not go after Swift? Hunt does seem gassed
