Brown would have to bomb in camp to not at least be the 3rd safety and you would think a starting spot from week 1 is a real possibility.

I think Brown is the Week 1 starter.  It won't take long for him to outperform the rest of the safeties on the roster.

I may be a contrarian, but I suspect the coaches will take their time with Brown.  There is no need to rush him.  Safety has room for improvement, but it isn’t a "hole” in the roster.  I expect that Brown will be one of the Safety starters after the Bye Week.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Mariota will probably get 8 and Siposs and the udfa they signed can take a number between 20-49.

That leaves 0, 3, 10, and 13 for McKee to choose from and 3 others left for skill guys or LB's/DB's.

Based on this, Mariota is in 8.  Looks like Terrell Edmunds in 41.  47 is Dalton Keene

Its not like the eagles to bench someone, as much as we want it sometimes.

I think he starts week 1, or else he doesnt start unless an injury happens.

I dont think theyll plan to bring him along slowly and pick a week to replace a starter who may be playing well enough.

If the starter is playing well enough then Brown’s elevation will wait.

NHL regular season... it means nothing.

Haha, the #1 seeded Bruins just got knocked out by Florida.

Same with NBA

Bruins 🤣

Winning championships proves to be quite difficult when ya can't cheat, doesn't it?

Mariota should wear 0 in reference to when Goodell announced him as Marioto

Cuz I think Swift is here for longer than 1 year a lot of players who don't make any sense wearing 0 are wearing 0.  Calvin Ridley for example is 0.  Braxton Berrios switched to 0.

I think Reddick would look at 0 as a badge of honor.

I wouldn’t bank on it. He turned 7 into his brand with his logo and social media as well as whatever sports drink company he owns. Same reason I doubted Gainwell, he built his brand around 14. I’d bet Swift or Nolan Smith is 0 before anyone else.

Umm…Hurts and 47 look ready for the season.  The rest of them look like they could use a little more conditioning work 😂

I think this pick might end up being dumber than Lions taking Gibbs at #12.

Yup, I really like Forbes as a player but seems a bit high for Forbes

I was shocked Gonzalez dropped all the way to the Patriots, I thought he was the best corner in the draft 🤷‍♂️

Guess we'll see.

I don’t like Forbes one bit at the pro-level. It’s one thing for DeVonta Smith to be that size since his job is to avoid contact. I don’t see how Forbes can succeed when he has to seek out contact.

Pretty cool to see the Panthers let their fans meet their biggest stars

I know Eagles have said they really like Gainwell but I’m wondering/hoping they move him to more of a slot role

Also we still don’t have an ideal swing tackle so wondering if Taylor Lewan is someone Howie is considering.  I know Lewan mentioned Eagles as a team he would consider

Grossi does very good fan reaction videos. His after the draft one for the Eagles fan:

The devil went down to Georgia... and the Eagles drafted him to play linebacker.

Hurts has 2 questions.  You hit the first.

The second...and this applies to Hurts, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, soon-to-be Burrow and Herbert...is any non-Mahomes QB in the NFL good enough to carry a team to a title with the limitations a contract like that imposes on a roster?

I think Howie answered that question through the contract structure.

What "starter”?  No offense, Matt, but Desai will have his own designs for the Defense and with Wilson moving on, McDonald the only back seven coach remaining and the two starters from last year gone, there isn’t an incumbent at "starter”, unless we count Blankenship, who was a back up (and a rookie himself last year).  The way I look at it, "starter” is an open contest between all the Ss, and frankly, for continuity purposes, the Eagles, unless Edmunds, Evans or Wallace blow things up, may favor Ss signed past this year.  Three Ss are signed for 2024, Brown, Blakenship and McCollum, unless they convert Jobe, Garner or Ringo to S.  I don’t think any player is more than a possible S at S at this point and would not be surprised by a rotation at the start of camp that includes Brown getting reps with the 1s.

Yeah! Brugler’s 108 LB, 6’ 214 lbs and ran a 4.71 forty.  Giants missed out.
