Rambo was a guy I liked in the later rounds last year. Nice camp invite.

OHHHH....I LOVE Charleston Rambo.  Probably won't amount to anything but man I always thought he would be a decent NFL WR.

Rambo should have gone pro when he was done at OU but instead transferred to Miami.  Big time target for Hurts when he was at OU.

Agreed. Had a down year at Miami but was awesome for Oklahoma. And has experience with Hurts which is awesome.

Big.

And now, a year of pro experience cant hurt.

Call me crazy, but I think this could be legit competition for Quez.

That OU offense had Rambo at WR and Calcaterra at TE.  I thought for sure back then both of those players would be sure thing NFL players.

Gotta make it out of rookie camp with contract offer before we go that far....but I agree.  If he can make it for camp, he's the kind of guy who can find a role.

How about a season averaging 25.5 yards per kick return for Rambo. versatile freakbeast.

Get the **** drone out of here with its 5 fps video quality.

Yeah I’m shocked he didn’t stick with the Panthers as a UDFA last year. He’s had a decent 5 game stretch for Orlando.

They should be used sparingly at best, so much has to go right for it to be positive yards at all and not a penalty

The screen that is good is the TE screen to Goeddert, we can keep doing that one

Huh?

I think you’re misunderstanding. They initially weren’t sold on taking him but after spending more time with him they then were sold that he was worth moving up for.

Is that him talking them into picking him though?

It is him helping them feel better about his character, not his ability.

If he can return punts and kicks... he can be competition for two other spots on the roster and we can save roster space by having one guy instead of two.

I do agree with that.  We might never know for sure.  It doesn't matter I guess.  Hopefully he reaches his ceiling.

BTW... I hate the drone cam.   That is all.

Bye bye tackling dummy Covey

Obviously the chances aren't good since he went in the 7th round, but he sounds like a similar level prospect and player to Milton Williams when they drafted him in the 3rd round.

Even if he turns out to be as productive as Beau Allen I'd settle for that. I know they aren't exactly the same type of DT .

Shots just will not drop tonight…

A few possession ago...Tobi with a complete Ben Simmons pass on a 2 on 1.  He needs to just finish there.

 I liked Rambo as a prospect but let’s keep it real. He didn’t make the Panthers last year and wound up going to the XFL. This is a camp invite. He’s REALLY going to have to impress to make this roster. I think realistically Jadon Haselwood has a much better shot.

The locks are Brown and Smith. After them, I’d say the "most likely’s” are Quez and Zaccheus.

I can’t see them keeping 4 RBs, 6 WRs, and 3 TEs. I’d say 5 WRs is most likely. So you have:

Britain Covey

Devon Allen

Tyree Cleveland

Jadon Haselwood

Joseph Ngata

Charleston Rambo

Greg Ward

Garrett Maag

all competing for most likely 1 spot on the 53 and a couple PS spots. Covey and Allen probably have the leg up due to their potential return skills even though I don’t think they’re what the Eagles need.

The Eagles are missing size. Zaccheus or Quez having to fill in as an X is scary as hell to me. Haselwood and Cleveland are 6’2”, Ngata is 6’3”, and Maag is 6’4”. But let’s be real, these guys are not heralded prospects.

I’m really interested to see who shakes loose from other teams. Right now your starters should be Brown and Smith on the outside with Zaccheus as the primary slot guy when they’re in 11 personnel. Quez is your deep threat. But they need that Pascal who can function as a #4 with run game blocking skills and who can fill in on the outside when needed.

Other than the safety position overall, I think the WR depth chart is the position battle I’m most looking forward to.
