We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Shouldn't have played Embiid. I knew as soon as he was in the lineup they were losing.

I am unconvinced

his cap hit if cut would be nothing right?

Unless he bombs in camp I would think he has an excellent chance to make the team. Cox, Davis, Carter, Williams is the clear top four assuming there are no injuries. That leaves one or two spots for Street, Marlon, and Ojomo. Ojomo sounds like a better prospect than Marlon and Street is decent but his fate might have been sealed when they drafted Carter.

Feels like they need a better guy behind Davis like Linval Joseph than a ton of tweeners.

Swift will be frustrating at times because his vision isn’t great, but these full speed cuts are otherworldly.

Jalen Carter can play any spot on the DL including nose.

I remember him being in a lot of mocks late round last year. Probably only because of his name.

Only like $42k but they would save $2.7m. Feels likely they will either re-work that or trade/release him.

I believe texting while driving is a ticketable offense in most if not every state.  I am sure there are likely cases where an accident caused by a texting driver resulted in vehicular homicide charges.  I have no objection to increased penalties for accidents caused by texting.  I think a criminal penalty instead of a ticket for texting while driving may result in some level of unfair charges by police or those charges would be hard to prove in case.  I do think, with how often I see people going down the road looking at their phones, we are probably just a few years away from a criminalization of texting.

So easily fixed with technology.  A phone can sense when it is moving (think Google Maps). Just design texting functions so they don’t work while a vehicle is moving. F passengers and mass transit users.

Wouldn’t that violate the predraft contract rules?  I thought calls and visits were limited through Wednesday.

Not a lot of alternatives but maybe someone will emerge

He was flagged for some type of heart issue. I don’t know anything specific but read a little about him when trying to choose day 3 picks.

Yeah the scuttlebutt was he was done, but the bucs gave him 115 or something guaranteed money on his Udfa deal so that gave me some hope for him. Poor kid lost out on millions and learned he had a heart issue in a few weeks.

Here is the difference between WR and LB though. They have two studs at WR and would need an injury for WR to be a concern. I am even someone who fully believes in Nakobe Dean while some consider him a question mark. That being said, behind him they have Nicolas Morrow as the other starter at off ball linebacker and they have zero depth behind those two.

Time will tell whether you are underestimating Christian Elliss.

I felt the same way.

Couldn't agree more. Would have been best to sit and rest Embiid until Game 3.

Probably would have been a Celtics win regardless but certainly wouldn't have been a blowout.

Want to see a Sixers-Knicks ECF

Would be entertaining as hell

The play vs Wash where he falls, catches the pass, gets up cuts back to the center of the field and takes it for a TD is nice. He's a really good player. The OL mitigates some vision issues and even with it, he has a high YPC. But I actually think he'll be a better player for the Eagles than Sanders. He's more explosive and a better receiver.

How about a season averaging 25.5 yards per kick return for Rambo. versatile freakbeast.

This draft was pretty amazing, I haven't had a chance to look at every player,  but both Sydney and Kelee have versatility.   Sydney has a slower 40 but freakbeast on all the rest,  Kelee has a great 40.  They were rbs or wrs in high school,  had great yards per carry, etc.  Kelee is 6'2 207 4.36 and he played offense.  Jet sweeper guy.  There is video of both Sydney and Kelee making big runs.

These versatile guys could go into camp or some day in the camp, test them,  see what they can do.   Can they be jet sweeper guy?  Can they block out of the backfield?  What of the things that Quez Watkins does can they do? All the things you might want out of a versatile back,  test them and see what they can do.  The Eagles might as well test everybody who wants to.

Much of the Eagles offense will probably be these 5 things  1) Brown catching 2) Smith catching 3) Goedert catching 4) Hurts running 5) RBBC running.   6) would be Other. And other could be any number of things including Kelee doing a jet sweep, maybe a little better than Quez.  Sydney has a higher ras,  he's built more like a running back.  Shorter, an attribute of slot wrs at times.  211 at 5'9 is solidly built.  He's very strong.  Excellent bench and jumps.

Not only that, but also if people realized/cared about policy discounts for safe driving maybe they would put the phone down.  I just found out that through USAA, I can save 30% on my insurance if I use their safe driving app.  95% of the app is tracking if you text or use your phone. The downside is that USAA is tracking my phone at all times and where I go, but let's be honest, every app is.

Being a safe drive and not texting while driving should be more important that saving money but if you can save money, all the better.
