Only a churl would point out that they've won two of three in Boston.

Didn't the talking face guys say Boston has been 50% at home in the playoffs?  Anyway, Thursday let's finish them off.

I’d rather Sermon Claus than Scott Claus.  If there’s a stat more blown out of proportion it’s Boston Scott vs the Giants.

Why?  Across the board, Scott has better professional stats, is arguably a better athlete, has better hands, better vision, better balance, more of a scoring threat.  Sermon is a bigger back?  12 lbs spread over 6” of height suggests a bigger target not a bigger back.  Because he was a higher draft choice?  I would argue he was drafted at least a couple rounds too high.  And for some reason, he has mojo on the gnats.  Only advantage Sermon has is youth. Sermon, because he was a third round draft choice picked up on waivers, costs $1.1 million.  Should he beat out Scott and they cut Scott, add another $1.1 million for the Scott cap hit.  Sermon has to significantly beat Scott.  He just lacks that burst and second gear to do it.   Don’t get me wrong, I like Sermon but I don’t overvalue him.  Until he shows more than Scott, if he can, I just don’t get the favoring Sermon over Scott

Working fine.  @Connecticut Eagle has a schedule for a new iteration shortly.

Sounds like 3 months with good behavior and a job waiting for him in Dallas

The victim's family should be at every parole hearing with the video of what he did, and didn't do.  That POS should serve the full 10 years.

Failing that, line up a good lawyer for the civil suit that would commence the second any NFL team is dumb enough to bring him in for a tryout.

Surprised the guy who brought up Anthony Richardson's stats under Johnson hasn't brought up the fact that Scott has averaged only 4.3 yards/carry as an Eagle but Sermon is averaging 9.5 yards/carry as an Eagle.

Wouldn't be shocked if he ends up in Philly one day.  He is/was one of DeVont's best friends.

If he can return KOs and punts there is a role. He isn't in the same league as Penny or Swift and Gainwell has already beat him out on the depth chart

He's only 24 so it's not like his life is over. NFL career likely over depending on how many of the 3-10 he actually does

He had 2 carries for 19 yards. Are you trolling now or have you always been?

Slower, not as agile, Scott is 203 not 195.  Why was Sermon afraid to lift.   Anything over 10’ in the broad is pretty good.  Difference is less than height difference and look at the verticals.  But this easily shows why RAS is crap.  You take out height and weight and the RAS scores in Scott’s favor.  A shorter RB with great balance and stoutness like Scott or Sproles can hide behind the OL and if they have any burst can possibly break free.  So, as I said, until Sermon shows more, he should not be favored.

Scott is not a flashy player but he is the defendable RB who will give his best and find ways to contribute.  He may end up as the odd man out as compared to other RBs on the roster.  Keep him around would be wise to fill in when there is injury or special situations.

I think the issue is we haven't seen what Sermon can do yet and usually everyone favors the unknown
