He's only 24 so it's not like his life is over. NFL career likely over depending on how many of the 3-10 he actually does

The DA says he made the plea deal because the blood draw was being contested, having been taken from him at the hospital.  He was worried a court would not allow it as evidence.  So what?  If I'm sober and I drive 156 MPH and kill a woman and her dog due to negligence, does that mean I can't be charged with a felony?

Maybe he'll get put on toilet cleaning detail in prison and another inmate will feed him the broomstick.

Father of Georgia player Devin Willock sues school, Jalen Carter for $40M in fatal crash

Those are all the dumbest lists I've ever seen in my life.

List one has Justin Jefferson and Micah Parsons as 1 and 2 over Mahomes, No Hurts.

List two has Matt Judon top 5, CJGJ top 10 and Tyrann Matthieu top 12, No Hurts.

List three has Travis Kelce #1 and Lamar Jackson as the 3rd QB overall.

List four kind of makes some sense at least.

If Jalen Carter wasn’t in the car with him, what does he have to do with the suit?

Trey Sermon wishes he was a scrub, He's not even a scrub. SF thought so little of him they threw him out like garbage. Philly thought so little of him he could not get any reps.

He is an absolute nothing practice squad J A G. Reading people flagellating over him is always hilarious.

Only a jabroni would over look the choke potential this team has in the 2nd round and how much Doc can suck as a coach. You act like it's a done deal. Far from it based on what they have shown us the last four years. IF they lose the next one I don't have confidence in them winning a game 7.

I don't act like it's a done deal. Far from it. However, I remember a series with Boston quite a few years ago, a conference final, where the 6ers won the 7th game in Boston and the crowd, very classy, chanted "Beat LA, Beat LA."

It has been done, so doom and gloom if they lose game 6 is misplaced.

In a case where someone was participating in an illegal drag race and the other participant was killed, there could be both criminal and civil ramifications.

On the criminal side, charges could range from reckless driving to vehicular manslaughter or even murder, depending on the specifics of the case and the jurisdiction.

On the civil side, the family of the deceased could potentially bring a wrongful death lawsuit against the surviving racer. They would need to prove that the surviving racer owed a duty of care to the deceased, that this duty was breached through the act of illegal racing, and that this breach caused the death. The standard of proof is lower in a civil trial, so even if a criminal trial did not result in a conviction, a civil trial still might.

The team 40+ years ago had talent and heart.

Nobody is being doom and gloom. This team has been given the benefit of the doubt year after year since 2017 and they choke getting out of the 2nd round, so now they need to prove it, and they certainly don't deserve the benefit of the doubt until they do. They showed great heart last night and in game 1, but also crapped the bed for two games. If they lose game 6 I think they are screwed. That doesn't make me less of a fan because it's based on history the last few years. They have to prove it to deserve respect.

Yeah, well maybe. Team mates?

Probably not? Caused as in main factor or as in aiding to that result?

It sounds like ‘the athletic department’ is the main target, even though Carter is one of the named defendends. Even if successful, he will just pay an amount x of his money? I think there cannot be consequences in the NFL as he was not in it when it happened.

I used to give the sixers more benefit of the doubt until that hawks series they lost as the 1 seed a couple years back. No business losing that series to that team especially with the leads they had in multiple games of 20+. After that i just don’t trust them nor doc until they actually complete the task at hand.

Was a hell of a catch to keep it 1-0. Too bad the Phillies can’t score. Blame Turner that bum only has a 10 game hitting streak

Hi @VaBeach_Eagle.

I will open up the next Blog sometime next week, after we are done criticizing the Eagles' schedule.

Sounds good, I just wanted to check in and make sure all was rolling well and not loading slowly like some threads in the past, when they get big.

If that ever happens, someone can just tag me or one of the other Mods and let us know and you can start a new thread and the slow one can be moved into the archive.

I hope that's not them, I've been expecting the Reggie/Randall era with the flying Eagle on the sleeves. Though if they could do the Wilbert/Harold/Jaws era correctly, I'd love those.

One thing I notice though, look at the Hurts jersey, there's a 1 on the front/back but a 2 on the shoulders. So that's a sloppy photoshopped franken-jersey.

I think they were just hinting at the kelly green for that game less so that’s what the jersey is. I’d be also disappointed if that was it as we did that back in 2010 and these were supposed to be 90s

It doesn’t even say Eagles anywhere. There’s no way that’s the jerseys.
