Leborn may be the closest thing there is to LeSean McCoy in this draft. Not quite there with the jump cut, but pretty close.

Looks like a guy to put on the practice squad and see how he looks after a year or 2 getting stronger.

Would like to see a little more speed. A little more strength. But the elusiveness is well above average.

I just checked out Camerun Peoples from App State. Hes gotta be a late rounder I think mainly because he bounces outside. He looks like he needs to learn to play within an offense.

But he does have redeeming qualities that make him worthy of a late pick.

He is 6'2'' 220. Although he bounces outside a lot, he does use his size to finish off runs. Hes not just a finesse guy who is wasting his size. The way he bounces outside shows surprising agility. His juke is very effective. And he appears to be deceptively fast. He has pretty long strides and I think he has decent speed.

Even better, even more likely to be successful in whatever role he can grab on to- Tavion Thomas of Utah is a very Jordan Howard-esque runner. He is 6'2'' 221, and is nothing but straight ahead, strong running. Hes not going to break many explosive plays. But he can potentially consistently gain chunks. Somewhere on the spectrum between Jordan Howard, and 2017 Jay Ajayi. If Sanders is cheap to keep, this is your ideal late round pick to be the complement. Short yardage, goal line guy who you dont mind spot starting at all.

Thomas all day in RD5 or RD6. Assuming that the Eagles acquire a pick or two in those rounds from a trade down scenario.

Charbonnet is still my guy, but I'd be okay with Thomas later on and use that early pick needed for Charbonnet on another position.

Now go play the mini HE in Paw Patrol Grand Prix.

We dont have that!

Mini HE got me hooked on fortnite. Mini mini HE cant play much. A little bit of mario cart but he pretty much hits a wall and gets stuck or goes backwards the whole time.

Been on the Tavion Thomas hype train since last year, he's my favourite mid to late rd prospect.

Awesome kid as well, has overcome a lot in his personal life in a very short amount of time.

I love Charbonnet long time.

Love the fact that he can be a 3 down guy. Love how he is still a plus in the passing game at his size. Love that he is big and physical, but also elusive enough, and pretty fast. Hes pretty much the whole package.

Think he's there RD2, and the Eagles would be crazy to not draft him. Hell, I'd be willing to trade up some in RD2 to get him in an Eagles jersey. He would thrive here with this OL and Hurts.

You're missing out!

It makes me wonder if the team picked the DC and told the players before it’s announced tomorrow. It seems like we picked someone else than Wilson and they want to hype him up now.

That’s how I read it. Seems very likely some kind of decision was made today and it wasn’t in Wilson’s favor.

Looks a bit too small.

If Jamel Dean isn't an A-hole, I think I'd rather just use the Hargrave money on him and draft another DT.

I'm thinking this as well. Cam Sutton could also be a good #2 CB here that won't get the Dean dollars. The defensive lineman I want in FA is Dre'Mont Jones. Can play across the line in multiple fronts. Daron Payne is another stud DT at only 25 but he will most likely get a huge pay day or just tagged.

Witherspoon at 10 feels like a homerun the more film I watch. He's got 'it.'

Which means he gets picked before ten, we know how this story goes.

I saw 5'11" 205

Which isn't bad.  But i agree he doesn't look it.

Definitely needs to get stronger.

Keaton Mitchell has a fun highlight reel for a small back. Crazy burst.

Yeah, what’s that extra U all aboot?

In fairness to the English and their Canadian cousins, my work colleagues in those areas would reference "your” and "or” to demonstrate the pronunciation difference.

If Wilson were to be promoted he has to rebuild 80% of the defensive coaches. Wonder what staff he proposed in his interview.  Imagine he needs strong suggestions for front seven and passing game coordinator.  Also wonder what fronts he proposes. Curious about his blitz philosophy, stunts etc.

What are thoughts on Andre Carter?  6-7 260 OLB.  He's lean but always looks to be around the ball with his reach and also has some range.

I had to drive to Philly for a talk this morning.  Every 50 feet there is a law firm billboard.  Personal injury, medical malpractice, workers comp…must be over 300 total.  Does anyone in this city still work or does everyone follow the Chris Maragos inspiration and try to sue their way into a living?

There are some good RBs in free agency that I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles signed that won't cost much. I liked what D'ernest Johnson showed when given a chance. I really like James Robinson too. Devin Singletary, Alexander Mattison, etc.

Interesting name brought up on the radio for DC.  Mike Zimmer.  But you wonder if at his age if he'd rather be dine than take a step back to DC.  Also a bit of a harass that wears on players but should at least be good for a couple years.

Witherspoon, and Ramsey wouldnt be a terrible way to get younger and cheaper. Let Bradberry walk. Not sure if theres any way to get out of Slay's contract with any cap savings though.

I wonder if you could have Slay, and Ramsey with Witherspoon in the slot for a year till Slay expires.

This may be wrong because every time I cite OTC someone tells me spotrac is better and every time I cite spotrac they say OTC is better, but OTC shows the team can save a big chunk of cap if Slay is traded post June 1st.

I would be fine with them moving on from Slay and drafting one of the remaining top CBs at 10, I really like Witherspoon’s aggressiveness. Now I’m more on board with bringing back CJG than any of the other pending FAs on this team and idk if that would allow for them to get Ramsey. If they still are, I would like a short deal with him since he’s only 28. If there isn’t the flexibility to sign Ramsey and they traded Slay, would Howie roll the dice on Witherspoon/Porter and one of the many DBs he’s collected over the years?

Going from one big FA CB to another is one of Howies specialties, so if there’s room to do it, I feel he could make it work to move from Slay to Ramsey.

If there’s no difference between the 7th round and UDFAs as you assert….why even have the 7th round?

Good question.  What is your answer to that question?

Why even have a Draft?

Parity

Parity

Order as well.  The UDFA signings are a free-for-all that works because none of the individual players are marginally better than the other UDFAs.  That is clearly not the case with the first 100 players.  Before Comp Picks expanded the Draft, 7 rounds provided order for the first 225 players … and parity in the distribution of those players.  With Comp picks the 225 number has become 260.

it will be interesting to see what @TorontoEagle gives as an answer.

Slay is a leader on the team, I really can not see him being traded. I'm out on Ramsey due to price and the draft picks involved going out.

If you want to spend on a CB get Jamel Dean. No picks involved and is only 26. Cam Sutton would be the next CB on the list as a FA he's 27 and won't cost what Dean would.

Bradberry just really turned my stomach in that Super Bowl. He was holding quite a bit and I saw him beat at times as well. I know they never called holding but man, you have to be smarter than that, especially on that final play. If you are that good you should not be holding there, no point to chance it. Not like he's going up against Jefferson or Adams there.  He's getting up in age and will get paid. Thanks for an overall good year but you can go now.

Based on what we’ve seen in society for the past decade with entitlement, sensitivity, and wokeness, my guess is the Chris Maragos inspiration. Because they all deserve it!
