He might actually make a better HC than DC.  Who knows?

I didn't care for his system/scheme/philosophy on defense but he won't be that anymore.  He'll be in charge and running the whole team.  Might be good at it.

I like Gannon oh well, good luck.

Allen has the insane arm and can run but he takes too many risks and will likely end up injured a lot if he doesn't work on that

The playcalling and injuries were holding Herbert back

I think Rodgers still has it but Packers are not built for the playoffs

Honestly think Lamar ends up on a decline

Allen realistically should be higher due to his arm talent and ability but he kind of regressed down the stretch of the year and made a lot of turnovers. Granted i do think some of that is his elbow wasn’t right and it likely wasn’t until he got time off.

don’t disagree on herbert. I just think those 5 by the end of the year were better than he was. Also Keenan Allen and Everett are likely gone. Frankly they need to find a running game to help him. It hurts him to consistently be forced to throw cause they are 31st in rushing.

my theory is rodgers isn’t going back to Gb. I think he winds up with the jets. With Wilson, moore, hall i think he’s going to play well. Worry the jets line needs to be better.

Lamar very well could be declining already with the amount of injuries he has sustained the past two years. I’d still take him over goff. Goff’s home and away splits were pretty drastic and i think he’s a product of his situation of great weapons and great oline. I think lamar is just better as a talent

To be fair - It's JuJu, he's an a**h*** anywhere/everywhere.

JuJu has always been a POS.

It's just Ju-Ju.  He's a knucklehead.

Yup....just ask Antonio Brown.

1. Mahomes

[huge gap]

2. Burrow

3. Hurts

4. Herbert

5. Lamar

6. Allen

7. Lawrence

Honorary members -- Rodgers and Stafford

Next tier is the Goff, Prescott, Cousins, Tua group

I've never gotten the love affair with Allen. He throws crippling picks. He's boom or bust to me.

Hard for me to put herbert over josh Allen when Allen has accomplished more and he was also playing with an elbow injury. I think that elbow was worse than we knew. I felt that way watching him the 3 weeks after it happened. Also can’t have lamar that high after two consecutive years he didn’t finish the season and sat out.

i think herbert you can say is better than Lawrence but Lawrence had to really overcome a losing culture and basically rise from the dead. Granted doug is better HC than Staley that herbert has to deal with. I think they are closer than people think. Lawrence was fantastic down the stretch. From week 9 to week 18 Lawrence had a 104.9 Qb rating, completed 70% of his passes and had a 17-2 td to int ratio (includes 2 rushing tds).

Just came on and read the news

Jalen is objectively an accurate QB. Look at his expected completion percentage.

The 2 most fair criticisms of Jalen
- Lack of arm strength
- Doesn't use the middle of the field enough

Some of it has been jalen in the past not using the middle of the field enough. However we also lost goedert for a few weeks and quez was really not good the second half of the year. We could really use a better slot receiver next year to utilize the middle of the field more. Especially with brown and smith on the outside

JuJu is a turd.  No shock.

Remember that narrative that Hurts can’t make Josh Allen’s third year leap because he’s a RB?

Well thank god he’s no Josh Allen, we’d have never made it this far with that many interceptions

If Jerod Meyo is actually available, we should give him whatever he wants.

Mentioned him yesterday but was informed by a few on here that he was just given a new deal.  Went and looked more in to it and it seems the Patriots are doing everything they can to make sure he is the guy who takes over for BB.  With that being said, money talks and Lurie has it.  Make it nearly impossible for him to say no.

Young was an unbelievably good passer in college. His final season he completed 71% of his passes, a Division 1 record in an era nobody was throwing like that. It stood for nearly 20 years before Culpepper broke it

It’s the primary reason Bill Walsh traded a first for him even after his TB struggles. It was clearly the team, not him

Lavell wanted to move him to RB or TE, and even then that BYU offense made a lot of great college qbs.

I mean looking at hurts college stats one would think he was a great passer as well no?

He developed at BYU into a passer in that system but even then coming into the NFL he was still considered pretty raw, Bill had to get him to settle his feet down, Steve talks about this in his book, how his feet were erratic and bill taught him the art of QB, before that he was just kind of getting by on athletic talent.

First point stands, but I think we absolutely still make the SB with Josh Allen.

That's not trying to discredit what Jalen did. But who would have beat this team with Allen in the NFC for the #1 Seed or throughout the playoffs?

And just like that, Eric Bieniemy is trending.  Here we go.

Anyone gutting the Giants and Whiners I like

F both those teams , they my worst.

I don’t get what a team would see in Gannon as a HC

He was making terrible turnovers early in the year too before the injury.  He's just too reckless with the ball and the chances he's willing to take.

Also what are these great weapons that Lamar has had? He's had a great TE and that's it, beyond that he has the least amount of skill player around him to work with compared to his young top QB peers.

Bieniemy and Mayo. I wouldn't say no.

Just create an expansion team with Bieniemy as HC and Kaepernick as QB so everyone can just shut up.

No interview after the SB, and signed the initial offer to get the heck out of here before he got beaten with greased poles.

As of right now with the cap the Eagles sit at 8M under the cap.

Slay will be restructured. This saves 13M

Lane will be restructured. This saves 11M

Elliot will be restructured. This saves 2.4M

Hurts will be extended. This saves 2.6M

Kelce will be extended if he doesn’t retire. This saves 2.6M

Hargrave will be extended before the 21st. This will cost us 1M

This will give the Eagles 38.6M in cap space. The draft picks will cost roughly 10M.

28.6M is enough to bring back key free agents and sign a few extras. Should be an interesting offseason.
