I really wish he did the agility drills. He's too small to be a 4-3 EDGE, but if he can bend he's quick enough to be a 3-4 OLB.

He has A+ football character too.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

The Athletic had a poll about the Eagles QB sneak plays.  The results:

For us, the Two-Cheek Sneak lives

We had a respectable split on the Two-Cheek Sneak. The winner is:

  • 56.5 percent of you voted for "Figure out how to stop it, losers.” We are a straightforward crew and I like that.
  • 43.6 percent of you said the play wasn’t real football, which I’ll give you a pass on. It doesn’t look like a football play, but that doesn’t mean we need a rule to help defenses stop it.

As always, thanks for voting.

I don't really even want him at 30. But that would be easier to take.

The guy has a ton of upside. At 30 it makes sense. But at 10 he just has too many question marks.

He compares pretty damn well to Reddick, who has 2 years left on his deal…

A creative DC could figure out a way to get them both on the field.

Bummer, like to see the 40 of prospects. Hope he runs at pro day

It seems Habakkuk Baldonado had a decent enough workout for a mid-round guy. OK 40. Solid jumps. Very big hands.

So did , Ya Ya Diaby , he had a good showing

I mentioned him the other day as a mid to late round pick , I won’t be shocked if he goes day 2

he looked so smooth during drills

I don’t know dude — the guy has INSANE physical ability. His arm strength is elite, his size is elite, his running ability for a QB will instantly be among the best in the league. I haven’t heard anything bad about him off the field.

He’s super raw but physically he will be among the best in the NFL. Not too many guys that size with that arm and those legs.

Im up for a friendly whiskey related wager…

It may actually help us get him…

Nolan can play across from Reddick in 5-1/3-4 looks, he’s stout against the run and pretty fluid in coverage for the position. He needs to develop more pass rush moves as he mostly bulls/swipes, or the DC has to work up more games - Sweat would obviously get the nod as the pass rush specialist.

You’re going to want a rain check on whiskey wagers. Setting up a private barrel select at a very well known distillery. Details to come… :excited:

Crazy that Cole was 236 pounds at the combine.

Is he going to be our TJ replacement?  Seems like a guy who can play right away.

I'm going to guess that his 3 cone speed is pretty good.  He's essentially the same size as Reddick at could certainly fill in that role for the Eagles.

If I remember correctly there was an issue with cafeteria/food. I want to say some kind of natural disaster or something like that. But I remember there was some weird circumstance that prevented him from putting on weight.

Yeah - he can play right away.  Range is adequate to get to the sideline, big obstacle in the middle of the field in zone, nice size to take on blocks - I'm not as confident that you really want him manned up against TEs and he needs to improve his reaction time for making tackles (too often he does everything right but the RB runs by).

He runs a 4.24.  The Eagles should make him the kick returner.

I’m curious if Jack Campbell can push himself into round 1. With the Fangio two-high shell taking over the league and teams attempting to play the run with less, he’s a fantastic fit. He’s big in the run game but athletic with long arms to cover ground in zone. The tape is good too.

Reports trickling out that Lamar Jackson to Commanders is a done deal...
