Loved Geno Atkins coming out was bummed when eagles passed on him then the next two picks after him the eagles picked Keenan Clayton then Mike Kafka with consecutive 4th round picks.☹️

Eagles/Howie can't just keep ignoring CB and opting for these one year band aids. If you want Patrick Peterson, fine. But they need to get somebody with some potential in house. Slay isn't a spring chicken anymore and we have no depth behind him for outside corner. 

Peterson isn't very good anymore. This is why they need to start investing 1st rounders at CB. Been saying it since the season ended. It's been over 20 years, enough is enough. And if the Eagles have been great at drafting defense, maybe you could argue they know what they're doing, just let them do what they do, but they generally suck at drafting defense. Wonder why, when their last 8 defensive 1st rounders have been DL.

Zach Berman said his sense from people he talked to at the combine are the Eagles won't be using the tag on anyone, even as a placeholder to buy time. 

He also seems to think they will lose Hargrave, CJGJ, Bradberry AND Seumalo.

He’s super raw but physically he will be among the best in the NFL. Not too many guys that size with that arm and those legs.

I'll say right now that has no chance of happening. People are overestimating the impact Hurts contract is going to have. Andrew Brandt said the other day that the Eagles can keep anyone they want to keep, it won't be an issue.

Yup.  The Eagles only had to give up a 2023 5th and a 2024 6th to acquire CJGJ; I think that low price reflected the fact they knew he was going to test free agency at the end of the season.  The Saints obviously couldn't get anywhere close to his contract number with their salary cap mess, and if Howie can't swing it we're going to have to look forward to the comp pick coming back.

I think they planned to lose both Seumalo and Bradberry.  Hargrave will be an unfortunate loss (especially since I don't want Cox back, and Suh and Joseph were rentals)

Projections for CJGJ vary wildly. Safety market is often unpredictable. If he hits the open market, I could see him not loving the offers and re-signing in Philly.

If Hargrave makes it, it's a wrap.

I’ve been saying he’s an Eagles target for well over two months now.  Not just a TJ replacement, a White replacement as well.  Dean and Campbell would be a very flexible pairing that’s DC could use creatively.
