4.61 for Branch #2

Do not want in the 1st.

Not a very good safety class.  But there are plenty of options in free agency.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I really like Jordan Battle in the mid rounds. He'll never be anything other than an above average safety, and that's good enough for me.

I also think Hurts’ huge improvement and making it to the SB will raise the stock for some of the more raw but gifted QBs…for right or wrong.  I still feel his level of improvement is much more of an outlier than what can be the norm

I think Hurts showed the importance of intangibles.  Shane Steichen brought Hurts up unprovoked this week when discussing what he looks for in a QB given how committed Hurts is and the work that he puts in practically living at the team facility.

It's one thing to have raw talent but if you're not fully dedicated to putting in the work then that talent isn't going to be molded into what it can be.

What did Joe about Travis and Jason? I wonder if their podcast is on his radar at all given its popularity.  I know Joe isn't a football fan but he is the podcast godfather.

Don't think he knew who they were.

4.38 for Gozalez #2

Wow! CB1 alert.

Crazy that Cole was 236 pounds at the combine.

The limited broad jump is a bit of a concern, but if they could grab him in the 5th/6th round like they did with Cole, then its worth the risk.  Personally though, I want to find more Bearcats!

Why is Witherspoon not running the 40 yard?

Raiders turned down Jacobs’ fifth year option only to franchise tag him at a higher price. And it’s not like they turned it down due to to performance, he was awesome last year too. Just a complete fumbling of the situation

What about moving Ringo to Safety?

"Hamstring" pull.

4.52 for Porter Jr. #2.

This CB class is deep, wouldn't hate it if the Eagles doubled up first two picks. Slay may not be back in 2024, so even if they draft one at 10, will need another at some point. But depends on who is there later.

Julius Brents K state with a 4.53.

Not bad not great.

He's got a lot of length though.

Want to make the Kevin Johnson comp for Forbes.

Loved Johnson's sticky coverage but his knock was being too skinny.

Problem is,  he weighed in at 188 and the size questions still remained.  Forbes is still like 20 pounds lighter.

Johnson was a really good NFL corner but did struggle with injury.

Gonzalez came out looking the best, 6"2 with 4.3 speed.

Top 10 pick.

Forbes will show up at his proday  heavier , he don’t play that lite , still have him one of my top 3 CBs

What's up with Jaylon Jones... Has the 2nd fastest 10 yard split (1.48) but finishes with 4.57

A lot of his reasoning seems to be based around Howies comments about not being able to make a reasonable offer to some higher priced guys and how they plan to receive high comp picks. I think we could still re-sign someone like Hargrave or CJGJ but it's going to take either them taking a discount or not having a strong market that brings their expectations down.

Their agents may be unwilling to negotiate until they see what other teams are willing to offer.

What an ego on that guy, 7 minutes of him explaining that he can walk on water

Hope we don’t draft him, whoever he is

Not a fan of Charles Davis

I got Witherspoon, Christian and possibly even Cam Smith over Porter.

Banks might be my #2 corner. The dude can really cover — not just a height/weight/speed guy.

What this is showing me is we really need to trade down from #10.

Latin America is a massive part of this side of the world and it’s a shame there are very few Latino prospects who really make it in the nfl. Dude is Colombian, I know a lot of people cringe at that kind of stuff but I think it’s very cool to see him get this far
