The epitome of a complete scumbag, to trash your own parents — ESPECIALLY adoptive parents, who pulled you out from whatever mud you’d have ended up in.

How proud they must be.

He is a worthless POS. A true racist. F him.

I think Fields will develop, but I don’t see the high ceiling. Major difference between him and Hurts is Jalen has a legendary mentality when it comes to preparation. He got better because he didn’t give himself a choice in the matter. Fields is still cashing checks off of pure athletic talent.

There are definitely some positions that are 90% athleticism and 10% work ethic, where even a mediocre work ethic with unbelievable athleticism will result in a good career.

QB is definitely not one of those positions.

Listening to Pat Kirwan on NFL Radio he says Stroud is the only QB in this draft class he would use a first round pick on — I wholeheartedly agree.  Stroud is the best prospect, and I don’t see him as a franchise QB either

I agree with DJ’s latest top 50 prospects list where he ranked Hendon Hooker at #49 and said he wouldn’t be surprised at all if Hooker ends up having the best NFL career from this QB draft class.

Hope the Cowboys dont draft him because Hookers do well in Dallas

How does signing XFL players work? After their season are they free to sign with an NFL team or are they locked in? I'd love for the Eagles top bring in DC's punter, Daniel Whelan. Honestly, they should be bringing in every punter from the XFL.

Lions wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to have Anderson across from Hutchinson and that’s way too high for Bijan

Agreed on Anderson.

As far as Bijan, everyone says he’s a top 5 talent in the class. It only takes one team to say "we are going BPA and that’s Bijan.”

I wouldn’t take any RB that high. But someone else might.

I think Robinson goes top 10; I suspect ATL at #8.

Yes, I know the Falcons have lots of other needs, but when have they ever done the smart thing?  An offense with Pitts, London, and Robinson at the skill positions starts to take shape, and may help Desmond Ridder look like an NFL QB

I would be shocked if he goes before pick 15

Matt, we have at least one medical professional on this Blog in that area of practice and at least a few of us with some level of expertise from the personal injury arena.  I can’t tell you how many studies I have read on TBIs.  Bottom line is the impact varies as does the recovery for each individual. Carson may have been impacted but his concussion wasn’t the sole cause of his fall.

Wentz’s flaws and fall don’t all tie back to his concussion.  He was demonstrating a failure to accept coaching long before that.  There are differing opinions on Wentz’s fall.  AFan points to the knee.  But he was demonstrating a failure to really try to correct his faults and accept coaching long before either injury with the Eagles.  I will be the first to admit that I was ****ing about it earlier than most on here and it may cloud how his injuries may have exacerbated his issues but given that some of us were pointing to issues before the Clowney hit suggests that maybe some issues (his fumbles, his hero ball tendencies) predated that hit.  There were hints from Doug about him needing a critical, firm hand in coaching

Thanks for the thoughtful post.  I completely agree with your "impact varies” comment.  Having worked in both the inpatient and outpatient departments that treat post acute trauma (PT, OT, ST, HT, etc.) I saw that first hand.  One of the great strengths of the book I recommended is it’s use of case studies, which do an excellent job of showing the variety of traumas and the variety of reactions.

The way Howie structured contracts, he clearly penciled in both Cox and Graham as his two allowable post June 1st cut designations. Now that they have extended Graham, I wouldn’t be totally surprised if they used one of those designations on Slay. They could do this and even re-sign him if the money works like they did with Cox last year or even let him walk. I know they wouldn’t clear up any cap space immediately doing this, however it gives them the $6Mish to sign the rookie class as well as give room for in season signings or extending someone from the 2020 draft aka Hurts because he’s the only one worth signing to an extension.

@VaBeach_Eagle you should have 40+ hours of youtube video views. I'll send you my increased electric bill as a thanks.

No worries about sending the bill, the check is already in the mail... just wait for it and it'll be there.

We should have an EMB podcast with various members as guests. Would get @VaBeach_Eagle youtube partnered and make the website real coin

I've actually mentioned that (somewhere, to someone, at some time). I've even thought about being the EMB's version of "Shango", but I don't have the time to be able to devote to livecasting during every game. For the past couple of years, I've barely been able to watch the games.

As far as the 'Shorts' go, I looked into it and we'd need 10 Million 'Shorts' views within 90 days for that to help qualify us for monetization. The 4,000 hours of regular video views would be much easier lol. We only need the 4,000 hours within the previous 365 days.

Adams when he heard this. And the rest of the afc west

Burrow has pretty much the same injury risk profile as Brady … a fraction of the injury risk profile of Hurts.

Here are two questions for you (1) the only thing you talk about is Hurts, but you seem hell-bent to end all discussion of Hurts.  What other non-Hurts topics do you want to talk about?  (2) what "harm” do you see in discussing Hurts alternatives other than the one you prefer?

Funny, Burrow has actually suffered a major injury, an ACL, unlike Hurts.  But thanks for answering that question just as I thought you would.  You wouldn't trade Burrow if you were the Bengals but you would trade Hurts if you were the Eagles.

I talk plenty about non-Hurts related topics.  But I think people like you that continue to do so much mental gymnastics to continue to not give Hurts credit and to try to act like he shouldn't be the QB going forward are total fools.  You continue to advocate for not signing Hurts as if that is at all a sane opinion.  You come off as a total
goober for that.

Please find one single comment of mine that denigrated Hurts or his performance.  Your imagination is running away with itself. The argument for trading him is purely one of dollars and cents … optimization of scarce fiscal resources.

I assume you have a personal budget, and occasionally find yourself facing a decision where a discretionary expenditure that you really want to make exceeds your liquid capital resources.  You have more than two choices you can make, but let’s keep it simple and only look at the two most obvious ones. (1) you can decide you can’t afford the item (let’s say a diamond ring, bracelet and necklace for your wife) or (2) you decide to find the money by cutting back on other core expenses (eating less, not buying clothes for your children, turning in your pet dog at the animal shelter, selling one of your two cars, etc.). That is the equivalent situation.

Hurts is the diamond ring, bracelet and necklace for your wife.
