Who is he supposed to be a leader of right now?  He isn't employed by any team.  

Theres still a bunch of LBs out there who can potentially be improvements over White or Edwards.

But ideally, Id like a guy like Wagner to do what Bradberry did, and Graham did, and come here for less to try to get a chip.

 

Theres a ton of better options than the guy Im about to mention. But I am intrigued as a super cheap option by Devin Bush. Insane athlete. Thinking about the blitzing of our LBs, his 4.43 speed. He and Dean can be terrors.

He would have to eat some crow for sure. But not ever division rival can be a micah parsons level eagle fan. Id expect that from a division rival.

Elandon Roberts is still the guy Id expect. Cheap and good. 

Drue Tranquill is good but likely too expensive. Zach Cunningham is out there, and ok...

Bobby Wagner, of course, is probably the best option if its a cheap 1 year deal.

 

Another one under the radar- Cole Holcomb. Hes pretty good but missed most of last year. Saw Tommy mention him. Didnt realize he was a FA. Thats an eagles signing if there ever was one. Bargain off the injury heap. 26 years old. Long term upside.

CJGJ is/was all about the culture here. I'd like to hope he gives Howie a chance to match like Bradberry offered. Might be asking too much though, as it appears his head has been turned.

I want Lavonte David. Perfect mentor for Dean too. Maybe you can get him on a two year deal.

Wagner would be ideal, he's still got some gas in the tank and brings instant credibility to the LB group, assuming he signs relatively inexpensive.

Bush is a nutcase but man I want some crazy on defense.

When they talk about simulated pressure with these LBs I wouldnt want to be the QB looking at Reddick, and trying to figure out of Dean or Bush are coming too.

And the OL, if theyre going to be dealing with more stunts on our DL and you have guys with that kind of quickness coming through. 4.43 speed on Bush. Dean may not have a fast 40 but we know he is quick...

Could cause a lot of problems.

These are 2 WTF posts in a row… Our QB had the best passer rating in the pocket last year, and had the best rating on deep passes. Like what else do you need to see?

And there are plenty of leaked contract numbers for FA out there…
