I blame Chip for Demarco. Demarco was completely fine before and after here. He didn't fit Chips shotgun RB scheme and he was barely used at that. He left us for the Titans and picked up right where he left off with the Cowboys. Zeke is toast man. I wouldn't want him for the vet minimum 

How about instead of being in on zeke we be in on a safety so that our starters aren’t Blankenship and wallace

Certainly not me. Thats ridiculous. 

And though we still have race baiting since those guys are still allowed to be here,  I've been enjoying more friendly discussions here while still watching 4for4 bicker with other members on his new message board.

I've moved on. 

Everyone here still complaining knows where to find him if they want to talk to him as well. 

I even feel bad about doing it the one time after VA made his point about trying to make money for the boards.  I hadn't considered how my comment could hurt that goal. Though,  I think my comment was vague enough that no outsiders would ever know that it was about...

If your post doesn't highlight one of the mod issues we have here and land make @VaBeach_Eagle take notice,  I don't know what will.

Penny is likely a waste of a roster spot, save for a few weeks while he is hopefully healthy early in the season.  

While you figure he won't affect the plan at RB should the opportunity arise to draft one,  or sign one, you kinda figure he automatically has a roster spot whether that means we keep 4, or even 5 RBs.

Zeke is also a waste of a roster spot who seems almost guaranteed to make the team.  

I'd only be ok with it if it was another camp body deal like Penny got and they both compete for that final RB shot that can't really be counted on to contribute but is gravy if he provides anything at all during the course of the year. 

 

I would not want Penny AND Zeke on the team.

It is a holding pattern.  Younger FAs would not be willing to sign a one year contract, so getting older in 2023 was inevitable.

Every contract I see being signed is 1-year.  Few and far between multi year deals being signed this offseason.

I can give a few details of why I don't have time to deal with modding/admining/banning/suspending and all the 'elementary school' drama that goes on at times. I'll put it in a spoiler, because I know that not everyone is interested, everyone has their own life challenges/situations.

For the past month+ (since the Thursday after the Super Bowl), we've been dealing with multiple eye surgeries for my mother, who is 87, has stage 4 lung cancer and requires daily chemotherapy and a few months ago, fell and broken bones in her pelvis and in the past 18 or so months has suffered 2 full strokes and 2 mini-strokes. I'm her sole caregiver. 

The strokes didn't leave her paralyzed, so she can move around, but the fall a few months ago which broke some bones, has left her weakened to the point where she needs a wheel chair in almost all cases of needed mobility. She can't cook for herself and she can't get up and walk to the bathroom or get out of bed to get a drink of water, or whatever, without assistance.

Add to that, chemotherapy destroys a persons appetite, so in the past few years she's dropped from about 150 lbs. down to (at times), 99 lbs. (or less). She's currently, 107 lbs. 

Of course, that's not everything, and I'm not complaining about ANY of that, or any of the other things that I take care of for her, so please don't misunderstand me in this at all.  I'm just addressing your questioning of me not having time for modding/admining/elementary school drama.

So yeah, I'm sorry but I don't have a lot of time to deal with moderating, admining, banning/unbanning/suspending/unsuspending people, deleting spam, reading/responding to complaints/reported posts or any of that.

I don't moderate/ban/suspend, but when all is said and done, I am 100% responsible for the site's bills, (which members here have greatly helped with in our first few years of existence). But if I was suddenly left with a $2,500 bill to pay out of pocket, it would be a burden. So I have to take some time when I can, to try to make sure that things are paid for if we want to have a board. At this point, we're close to the point of the board paying for itself just by existing.

If everyone continues to use Amazon for the board and we can attract more and more guests, the board will be paid for just from those things.

Why are guests important? Guests see ads. Members don't. Ads generate revenue. Scare guests from even visiting, by protesting on the methods that are meant to bring guests to the board, and ad revenue becomes limited (ad revenue is a small portion as it is). 

As for the ads, I don't want members doing anything with the ads (clicking on any of them) to try to 'help' the board, that would only hurt the board. Members can do FAR more to help the board by just using our Amazon link whenever they use Amazon for purchases.

Bringing back both of the CBs and having them locked in for 2 years is my biggest concern.  Those two moves alone take CB off the board.  I can't see them drafting a CB knowing he's sitting until his 3rd year.  They have Maddox locked up too so slot CB isn't exactly open.  There are exceptions, but CB is a young mans game.  The Eagles are going to be trotting out the oldest duo in the league for the next 2 years. 

While I understand your logic, I don’t agree that the Eagles are prevented from selecting a CB with their first Draft pick.  This is the same scenario we had leading up to the Lito and Sheldon Draft.
