We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I'm certainly not expecting much out of Sermon, but who knows , I mean I thought Corey Clement looked like trash in the pre season then he went on to have quite the year culminating in the super bowl until he fell back to earth and became irrelevant.

If eagles can get a few good games out if an UDFA like sermon then good for them.

I expect they draft a RB at some point in the draft.

I really like this draft class. Could see them taking one at 30 or the 2nd.

Got some good prospects, hopefully Howie comes away with a good one and doesnt pull a Pumphrey...☹️

Sermon was a 3rd round pick in 2021 out of OSU.

The Rodgers to the Jets rumors heating up just reminds me of how special it is for a player to play their entire career with one organization.

Joe Montana - finished with the Chiefs.
Johnny Unitas - finished with the Chargers.
Joe Namath - finished with the Rams.
and so many more...

It really makes you appreciate the likes of:

Walter Payton (13 years, all with Chicago), Mike Singletary, Bruce Matthews (franchise moved, but he never moved on), Jackie Slater, Anthony Munoz.

And here with the Eagles... Jason Kelce, Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox and Brent Celek :flex:  ...legends.  (A little deeper in history... Jerry Sizemore). 10+ years all with only the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Dawkins, White, Cunningham, McNabb, Carmichael, Montgomery... all finished elsewhere.

And what it also shows is that it might be easier for a lineman than other positions.

What's even crazier for the Packers.  They haven't had a starting QB not named Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers since 1991...the great Don Majkowski.

That's right niners.

Either way eagles got him for peanuts

That's an interesting saying, wonder where it came from.

The circus???🤔

He's got great athleticism but lacks upper body strength and has poor balance when engaged. Quick feet but poor intuition in finding his block means he'll be nothing more than a developmental piece in the NFL. His pro day readings, impressive as they are, might have him go as high as 5th but I doubt it. I think he gets picked up in the 7th...

Maybe Stout and a Pro strength training regiment can fix him...

I know a lot of you have greatly missed my absence this past week. I traveled back to the homeland and got some pics to share.

Great pictures.  Why did they give giant head Dawkins a real helmet but they want Harold to fit his big old head in a human sized helmet?

Majkowski was pretty promising before he got hurt, then the wheels fell off. Him and Sterling Shepard were quite the show.

Mostly correct with a few missed opportunities

I can't see why NFL wouldn't approve 0. It's like printing money for new jerseys.  They likey that

Will a current Eagle switch to 0 or do we think that will go to a new guy?

Rich Eisen takes a crack at breaking down the coaches group photo:

Yeah he brought up a good point that Anthony Richardson was at his pro day, so Reich was likely too. Who knows what Sirianni was doing

Wonder if anyone notable is part of that group

Has to be someone rich like Ted DiBiase

Yeah I'd be happy grabbing him late or especially as a UDFA. Even with strength training, his lack of intuition is the biggest concern but if anyone is able to remedy that over time, it'd be Stout. His athleticism is something to work with for sure.

It should be Hurts. He can go from 2 to 1 to 0.

Eskin said Sirianni and Vrabel were having a conversation and lost track of time.

#0 baby!

Only if it's on an absolute unit. Bylaw proposal would be fattest guy on the team only.

Greatest kicker in Philadelphia Eagles history, Barney Gorman aka Tony Danza! : r/Autographs

Could see a CB wanting to wear 0 for something like no catch zone

Yeah, thinking Bradford's playbook literacy would have been a tap in.

*nvm, current QBs and all. Blaming my hangover (and my own literacy)

NFC scout on Iowa CB Riley Moss: "Moss doesn't have the best long speed, but it's good enough. But his short-area quickness, balance and body control are elite. His quickness might be the best in the class of Round 2 guys." #NFLDraft

NFC college scouting director on Penn St. CB Joey Porter Jr: "He's so long but moves really well in terms of short-area quickness and change of direction. It's pretty rare for his size." #NFLDraft

AFC GM on Illinois CB Devon Witherspoon: "He's better than a lot of the guys in recent years, maybe outside of Sauce [Gardner] and Pat Surtain II. "He's good. I think he'll be a top-10 cornerback early in his career." #NFLDraft

NFC scout on Kansas St. CB Julius Brents: "I watched him against Texas, TCU and Alabama, and he had no problem keeping up with those guys. That answers the speed question for me."

That same scout told @nfldraftscout he has an early 2nd round grade on Brents. #NFLDraft

NFC General Manager on the 2023 corner group: "This year's cornerback class is really good. There might not be a Sauce Gardner, but there are five-six legit Day 1 starters and a handful of CB2 and CB3 types in here." #NFLDraft

.@MelKiperESPN on Mississippi St. CB Emmanuel Forbes: "Fourteen career interceptions, six pick-sixes—one off Will Levis this year. He's 6'1", ran a 4.35 at the combine, missed only one game in his career and it wasn’t for an injury.

Trade down for 10, get an extra 2nd and double up on CB with Moss and Forbes.

Yup and if he doesn't work out, who cares all it cost was a 7th rounder ...

So fat guys can't even wear it. Terrible.

One would think having a giraffe neck would help a QB..🤔

As a kid, I loved Majkowski.  Had the mullet so many of us young kids wanted and just looked really cool in his uniform on all of the cards I had.  You mean Sterling Sharpe.  Incredible talent before his neck got all messed up.
