Please don't mess this up Nike.

It won't be those though.  We're supposed to be getting the 80s/90s with the silver pants.  Nike can't make silver pants anymore so will be interesting to see how they handle it.  Seattle is also getting 90s throwbacks that had silver pants.  Maybe they have a solution?

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Chargers, Justin Herbert begin contract talks; QB expected to receive record-setting deal

It will be interesting to see how the numbers look.

He's got stats. Hopefully Hurts gets his first

Wtf is wrong with Nike. A billion dollar clothing company been around for a long time can't make a simple shade of green or silver pants?

I didn't have to get banned to get him back.  I didn't contact him.  But I had a great way to convince him. I probably have to just take 33.33333% credit on this one.

I think this will be the pick tbh

Not disagreeing the punter position needs to be upgraded, but "should" draft one is a loaded word.

In the past 20 years on average, there have been 4-5 draft picks that have been classified as "ST", which would include kickers and punters (I'm not sure anyone classified as a long-snapper in college would ever get drafted).  Does having a high average yardage per punt in college necessarily make you a draft-worthy player?

The Eagles drafted Alex Henery in 2011.  I might argue an elite PK has more value than an elite P.  They drafted Mitch Berger in the 6th round in 1994, and someone named Pumpy Tudors in 1992.  What a name -- I'll need @FranklinFldEBUpper to comment on whether he remembers that guy at all.  He was an 11th round pick who didn't make the roster.  Feagles punted through 1993, then Berger a bit in 1994 and Tom Hutton from 1995-98.

Yes, I remember Pumpy Tudors. He got cut and never made the team.

BONUS: Who remembers Manny Matsakis? What was unusual about him?

The interesting part is, for instance, if Herbert gets $52M per year AAV -- what do Burrow, Hurts, and Jackson command?  Jackson hasn't had any playoff success but did win an NFL MVP.  Hurts has been to a Super Bowl and Burrow has been to a Super Bowl and two AFCCG.  Guaranteed money will also be of paramount importance.

If Hurts could be signed at this moment I believe $47-49M per season would be market value.  If Herbert gets much over $50M AAV then the market resets upward again IMO.  The Eagles could be looking at somewhere around $54-55M depending how timing and negotiations go.

Quez with the second highest failed rate reception last year. He's probably going to be WR4 or WR5 seeing as it's unlikely he gets cut based on Sirianni's recent comments.

Demarcus Robinson and Breshad Perriman are still out there, but the draft might be where we find our answer.

Anyone got a WR on their radar in the mid to later rounds this year?

Didn't know Silver pants were the cold fusion of the manufacturing world???

I mean seriously how hard is it to make silver pants, get in touch with Elton John or lady Gaga, they can't be the only ones...

Jackson should receive the least amount IMO. He's on a downward trend while the others are all improving

I think a position change might be in his future.

I hate the giants and Daniel Jones.

When mediocre QB like Jones get the ridiculous contract he did it throws the market out of whack.

It's going to get to point where the only teams playing in Superbowls are teams with qbs in rookie contracts as they won't be able to build a team if they have a 50 mil a year QB.

Here's the other video that I mentioned that I was going to put on the board's YT channel (about Doug and Mike Lombardi):

A true QB factory would adopt the philosophy of keeping the rest of the roster strong while cycling through the QB position every 4-5 years.

He'd be a tweener DE like Reddick depending on formation. Seems like he'd be a pretty redundant pick for the Eagles in the 1st.

Since the QB positions skews the salary cap so much, I wonder if they've considered excluding QBs from the salary cap. Would that get messy at all? Like would QBs get $120 million/year contracts, despised by their teammates, and only signed by the richest teams?

Think it will be Paris Johnson or Tyree Wilson (if he falls that far).

Would love Smith here, just don't know about getting him at #10.

It's really Watson and his guaranteed contract that threw the wrench
