Yeah, the worst part is people trying to act like what Clark did (the You Can’t See Me thing to her own bench) is the same as Reese stalking her around the court for 20 seconds to taunt her. It’s nauseating.

Yea, two completely different actions.  After getting stuck reading the comments section, I honestly think it's being kept alive because it's yet another thing that can be used to divide the races.  I only say that because you can see it happening in real time the more they post about it.  The amount of talking heads coming to the defense of Reese surprises me but at the same time, I'm not surprised.

Carter’s lack of production concerns me. I love his get off and explosiveness he displayed at times though. IMO Jordan Davis didn’t have that. Also felt like Carter had a nasty streak when watching him I didn’t see from Davis.

But I always thought ranking Carter over Anderson even before the legal stuff was insane.

Honestly, the most explosive play Carter ever made was when he was lined up at FB on the goal line.

Random Regular chiming in to draft him to play him on offense in 3...2...1..

Or to move Davis to RG

I will come to her defense. Insee nothing wrong with either of them doing what they did.

if you are going to dish out the "you cant see me” you have to be able to take it when you get your ass kicked

Look at his RAS and tell me he isn’t the perfect slot WR

Yeah, but they aren’t even close to an equal action. If he she did a quick "taunt,” then yeah. But she followed her around for 20 seconds. It was excessive and dumb.

It's being blown way out of proportion that's for sure.  However, Clark did it for maybe 1 second towards her own bench.  She never directed anything towards LSU. Reese continually followed Clark around doing it in her face for a good 20 seconds.  Big difference IMO.  I have no allegiance to either team or player, nor do I even care about women's basketball.  I've just become aware of it because it's been all over my twitter feed the entire day and still going on.  If you search twitter for Clark/Reese, you'll get a great idea of how race relations are in our country and that's the main reason this is still a story when it should have been squashed last night.

What Reese did was extremely low class and pathetic. Furthermore, your team is on the verge of winning a national championship and you are more concerned with trying to show up your opponent than being happy that you are champ. It's pathetic, and anyone making this about race is a clown. I lost all respect for those who are making this a race issue. This is about carrying yourself with class or not which has NOTHING to do with color.

Agreed, but welcome to America in 2023.

Sure they are, its all just trash talk. Who knows what jawwing was going on throughout the game.

it is sad that angel went right to the racism nonsense after.

College.Girls.Basketball …….

Slow night

Props to Jay Williams for saying that Reese crossed the line for following Clark around and getting in her personal space. Williams said all is well and good with trash talk but when you stalk someone and get in their face it's different.

Who gets to define the 'line'?  They have that in football to with the Mara & Fisher taunting nonsense.  It's interesting that certain people feel that they're the authority on defining what is acceptable.

As a fellow black person I just can't stand when other blacks perpetuate race relations by being so defensive that they create racism when it doesn't exist. Listening to Shannon Sharpe say that what Reese and Clark did was the same exact thing is just utterly clueless. Motioning to someone for a couple of seconds as you walk or run away is completely different than stalking someone for 10+ seconds and making multiple gestures at them, then crying racism after the game for justification is just icing on the cake.

A two second gesture while you are walking/running away is completely different than stalking someone on the court for over 10 seconds and making multiple different gestures at them. That isn't making yourself authority, that's just common sense.

I never said they were the same. I questioned who gets to decide how many seconds is acceptable there? And why do people care so much?

Nobody gets to decide. It's a matter of opinion. I'm not saying you personally, I just don't see how anyone could look at what Clark did the other night and say it's the same as what Reese did. The game was more or less over when Reese did it too, so it wasn't in the heat of competition. When you factor all of that in and then hear her post game comments she was obviously making things very personal and creating the racial situation, not the other way around.

I watched like 10 Youtube videos last year of Jordan Davis of draft geeks drooling over his "athletic profile" and breaking down like 5 random plays over the course of a full season to show how "special" his talent his, and still, I was unconvinced because of his lack of production and the amount of Georgia games I watched where out of everyone on defense he popped off the screen the least out of most of their starters on defense. And then as a rookie Jordan Davis showed absolutely nothing.

I'm not saying that means Davis will be a bust(although I'm not counting on him being some stud either, I didn't like the pick when they made it). Point being though, I'm always wary of guys who don't have the production to match their profile. I consider Nolan Smith a risky pick. May have high upside I guess, but I think there are other guys in that area way safer than him that don't exactly have low ceilings either.

As for Carter, I could actually see their belief or non belief in him being the determining factor on if they trade down or not. If they do all their homework on him and love him, assuming they love him as a talent, I could see them just taking him if he's there. If not, I could see them deciding there's no one else they have to take at 10 that's worth them losing out on extra draft capital.

71.4 on pff.   That's good.  Green.

69.8 in the postseason.

26th of 127 DI.  that's top quarter.  as a rookie.  I'd say that's good.

I agree 100%.  I have no problem at all with what Reese did.

I’m with Toast on this.  It has another layer that was a byproduct of the game strategy that Iowa deployed against South Carolina, where they packed the paint defensively and dared SC to beat them with outside shots.  Reese was vocal prior to the game that (A) Iowa was disrespectful to SC in deploying that defensive approach, and (B) if Iowa tried the same approach against LSU they would get a very different result.  So there was an element of "We warned you” Austin’s delivery of her "in the moment” gesture.

Rich Gannon was asked on NFL Radio today where Kenny Pickett would rank among this year’s QB draft class.  He said Pickett would be at the top.

I would say Stroud-Pickett-Young

those are both positions that need starters, and Davis can't do both.  Davis could be one of many versatile backs who play a few snaps occasionally.

Jordan Davis ran for a TD at Georgia.

So, what you see in the image below crosses the line too?  Strange, since it is revered as an iconic moment.

Are you saying that Davis could play slot WR if he wasn’t too busy being a DT?
