I’m signing up for a free trial for YouTube TV so I can coax my wife into dropping DirectTV for it. $250 for Sunday Ticket is perfectly reasonable IMO.

Can't wait until after the first round so we can stop seeing the "take a RB in the first round" discussion until next years offseason

The reasons I've cooled off on Van Ness and other DL at 10 are Jared Verse, who could be a top 10 pick in 2022, Michael Hall Jr. is who everyone thinks Jalen Carter is and Leonard Taylor who is going to be a STUD.  Ohio State also has Jack Sawyer and J.T. Tuimoloau at DE, who have 1st round potential.

The Eagles have all the ammo in the world to get the guy they want next year.  I'd take all 3 of these players over any of the 1st round DL talent in 2022.

The Eagles might be drafting in the 20s next year. If Verse is a top 10 guy, which I agree is possible, it would cost 1/2/3 to move up. That's a lot. There's also no guaranteed another team that wants him is willing to trade down. You can't bank on any specific player in a future class unless you're willing to tank.

At least we haven’t had we are taking a linebacker in the first round discussion this year.

This makes sense. I was imagine we he would've been pretty upset about Jones getting overpaid while getting the tag slapped on him.

Kempski and Gowton basically mocked the idea of Van Ness at 10 in their latest pod. He was that one guy they were like "no way" on at 10. Kempski thinks taking a part time pass rusher with no pass rush moves at 10 is insane. And I have to agree.

Both also laughed at the idea of them taking a TE early. They think the argument that they did it with Goedert and Ertz is one of the reasons not to do it now. The fact that it caused issues in the locker room and the 2 TE sets thing never really worked out like the Eagles wanted it to.

Off top of my head I take these 3

Jack Sawyer

Chop Robinson

Dallas Turner

depending on who declares , next years edge class will be awesome  . The QB class could be the best in a very long time

A few trades...biggest one was with Carolina trading 10 for Brian Burns, 39, and some other pick.

$250 if you're a YouTube TV subscriber but that's an early bird price. Goes up to $350 on 6/6. Non-YouTube TV subscribers starts at $350 and goes up to $450.

Don't know what they're talking about.  Goedert was a fantastic pick at #49 and he supplanted Ertz at exactly the right time.  Ertz was past prime, overpaid, fell off a cliff in 2020 and needed to go exactly when Goedert was fully ready.

LMAO, the Chiefs just won the SB with a 7th round RB and another guy who has been on 3 or 4 teams. Both has significantly outplayed the late first round RB they have on their roster. Andy Reid has ALWAYS built teams from the QB and lines out. Where the heck do you think Howie got this from. You walked yourself right into disproving your own opinion.

What did you think your point was exactly?  The chiefs have the best qb in the game and Andy throws fifty times a game. We don’t. And we don’t.

maybe it’s possible that having an elite running back matters more to a team that runs?  Huh…

You realize you need a willing partner for that, right?

See above.

really ? thanks for pointing that out.

The  Eagles held on to Ertz a year too long too.  To only get a 5th and Tay Gowan for Ertz sucked.  Not that TE will ever bring back a huge trade return, that's pennies for a guy like Ertz.

So the Anthony Richardson one is super fascinating lol

Sorry. Some in here just make it a foregone conclusion that if x, y, and z aren't there "just trade back." Unless Richardson or Levis are sitting there, I don't see a lot of hungry trade partners this year.

The real freakbeasts were the QBs we had along the way

I can see the Jets trading up for OL  and Pats have a ton of mid round picks where if they identify a guy I can see a move up

This draft isn't all that super talented at the top. There's some good deep positions like CB, TE, RB, OL. I like some DE's too. But at 10? I'm not seeing who is the obvious answer which makes me like the Bijan idea even more.

The jets gonna jets

Come on Eagles, let's go.

Everyone talks about the kelly green, but the away jerseys are so clean. Nostalgia through the roof. I know people have grown to the midnight green, but I do hope they at some point go back to kelly green home and away full time.

I'd say Bryce Young is more like Tua + Johnny Manziel

The CJ Stroud one I'd accept

Anthony Richardson is more Cam Newton + JaMarcus Russell

Will Levis is more like Carson Wentz + Taysom Hill

Hendon Hooker is more like Jameis Winston + Deshaun Watson
