so $250 is what they are charging?

$250 if you're a YouTube TV subscriber but that's an early bird price. Goes up to $350 on 6/6. Non-YouTube TV subscribers starts at $350 and goes up to $450.

$250 plus the cost of YouTube subscriptions which is $62/month for 3 months then $73/month after the promotion

Good for the Jets. The Packers are overplaying their hand. The Jets can call their bluff until draft day.

Everyone talks about the kelly green, but the away jerseys are so clean. Nostalgia through the roof. I know people have grown to the midnight green, but I do hope they at some point go back to kelly green home and away full time.

Couldn't agree more.  I loved the white jersey on silver pants.

You should already have youtube tv anyway.  That price isn't really included in the cost of Sunday ticket.

We don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things, but we are in lockstep regarding jerseys.

Joe Douglas is coming off not looking very good in this.  Gudekunst is obviously being a knob, but the Jets should have exerted pressure on the Packers to get this done already.

If I was Douglas I'd get two rumors circulating:

1.  I'd put out info the Jets are visiting with Hendon Hooker, Richardson, etc.  Heaven knows the Jets can't afford to sell another QB draft pick to their fan base, but there's no harm throwing a red herring out there.

2.  Use the Lamar Jackson soap opera as leverage.  OBJ used the Jets as leverage to get an overpayment from the Ravens; go ahead and use Lamar Jackson as leverage to get the Packers moving

3.  I'd ask Rodgers to start putting retirement talk out there again.  If Rodgers retires, the Packers are stuck with that entire cap hit and no draft capital coming back at all.

Solak says Tyree Wilson had two lisfranc injuries in college. Man, I hope he’s gone by 10. He seemed overrated even before learning that.

Sorry. Some in here just make it a foregone conclusion that if x, y, and z aren't there "just trade back." Unless Richardson or Levis are sitting there, I don't see a lot of hungry trade partners this year.

i get where you're coming from. for me it's just a feeling i have that one of those players are going to be there.

He doesn’t really need to exert pressure. He knows the Packers want to trade Rodgers and that a trade benefits them via asset accumulation, cap space and ridding themselves of a headache. Douglas has the draft as a fairly hard deadline. The Packers likely don’t want to wait a year or two for their draft pick return.

We are under the assumption the packers wouldn’t take rodgers back and try to make it work out. A couple years ago the big news was rodgers wanted out and was irritated at the packers front office.  then he got a massive extension. I’m not completely sold the packers aren’t living in a dream world where they are just ok with rodgers either retiring or just coming back for 2023 even with everything put out there

just to point out it also makes more sense from a financial standpoint for the Packers to wait until after June 1 to make this trade. Because then it’s 15.8 million of dead money (instead of 40.3) and they get 15.7 million in cap Saving (instead of a 8 mil against the cap). So if they’re not gonna get what they want in this draft from the jets then they can wait til June 1st and try and structure the trade to have incentives for a better pick in 2024 then they’re getting now. Granted they’d miss out on prospects now to help the roster. Also i wouldn’t be shocked if the niners somehow get involved in this already some news out out there about it

im also not sold the jets are dumb enough to F this up either.

I looked at YouTube tv and it wasn't appealing. You need the subscription before June to get the price down to $250

This.

New York's other options aren't great, but at least they have options:  they could pivot to Lamar Jackson, pull off a curveball trade for someone like Trey Lance, or just go move the picks and get AR or Levis.

Green Bay is just crap out of luck if they don't pull this off.

Are we under the assumption the Packers wouldn’t be just OK with Aaron Rodgers retiring?  they were going to get a cap hit  regardless (significantly more if he retires) unless it’s after June 1 trade. So they might just be OK with Aaron Rodgers retiring if they can’t get the compensation they want.  he never plays another down again in the NFL and never for another team besides the Packers. Lots of packers fans rather see him retire then get less than ideal compensation for him so front office can sell that to them

Add on I don’t rule it out that the Packers live in this dreamworld where they think Aaron Rodgers could come back and play in 2023 for GB and smooth it out for another year. Because they did that once before. Let’s not forget in 2021. When crap hit the fan there was this type of talked and then all of a sudden Aaron Rodgers has now played two more years with the Packers.

also, don’t rule out the Packers waiting until June 1 to get a deal done. Financially it makes more sense. Because they clear 15.7 million in cap space instead of having a -8 mil in cap hit and  a 40 million dead money hit.  At that point you can set up a trade with Aaron Rodgers and the Jets meet certain criteria it makes the pick better. Only thing you miss out on is this draft but maybe the Packers don’t use this draft all that great hence why they want better compensation in this draft.

I also don’t rule out the Packers are petty enough to stick it to Aaron Rodgers, and don’t care if he retires if they don’t trade him. Because I think their front office has not handled this entire thing well for a couple of years now. So I wouldn’t be surprised at all, if they’re that petty.

This is one of the few times I'll ever agree with H.E. - YouTubeTV is a fantastic platform for what it costs.

Hope Seattle or Detroit takes him. Zach and Bo talked about this today. How this Wilson over Anderson talk is crazy.

Yikes. I tend to think he goes before 10 but that’s alarming. I wonder if that would actually cause him to fall on some team’s boards

At least he wasn’t JJAW.

Green Bay has wasted 75% of Jordan Love's rookie deal.  And all Rodgers has to do to nuke a trade is tell the other team that he'll just retire.

He could kill the deal, then go back and tell Green Bay that he changed his mind, he's not going to retire and he's also not going to play for them.  His signing bonus kicks in at the start of the season for something like $59 million.  At this point it's not above Rodgers or Green Bay to be spiteful about this - those bridges are burned and the ground is salted.  Rodgers could go sit on the bench, chill out for the season, and get his paycheck all the same.

Green Bay might have time on their side, but the downside for them is greater.  No GM or team would be willing to dig their heels in that far and create that kind of circus.
