Yeah I actually can answer my question both ways.  I think if completely left to their own devices most of these guys would have moronic lists because I think they really just copy from a few sources and change a little to make it different. I guess my skepticism is that they actually believe or did real research on their changes.

Yeah, no one works in a vacuum. They talk to colleagues, they do podcasts, talk to scouts, read other lists (a lot of times probably to make sure they aren’t missing anyone). I’m sure that can and does help shape their opinion.

Derrick Henry to the Eagles.....what??

Just one guy's tweet but it gives a little new conversation

I wouldn’t want any part of him nor do I think it’s real. Howie not only giving up a pick for him let alone paying him a lot of money? Call bs on that one. Give me a young explosive back in the mid rounds of the draft.

It’s been rumoured the last couple of days even before this tweet; I can’t see it happening for the speculated compensation I’ve been reading:

One was Eagles #30 and Quez Watkins for Henry and a 3rd round pick

Other was Eagles #62 and a 2024 2nd for Henry and the Titans #186 pick

I think I’d rather just draft Bijan Robinson at #10 than either of those choices.

He did this a few years ago and was totally wrong. Even had some type of connection to the player. I can’t remember who it was but I remember for sure he put out some weird rumor that didn’t happen.

Yeah, there’s no way that’s an accurate price. Maybe they asked for it before getting laughed at, but it’s not something anyone would pay, and Tennessee knows it.

Like @Alphagrand said before. Why pay any price at all to upgrade the RB room? Just draft Robinson if you’re willing to pay Henry.

I think the NFL rule of thumb is, when you have a player you are clearly moving on from who also earns/wants a high salary and extension — no matter how good the player is — they go straight-up for a mid to late-round pick (which the Eagles don’t even have until 2024).  The exception, of course, were the top WRs who reset the salary market last year.  Hill and AJ Brown were still elite talents but their organizations didn’t want to give out $25-30M to a WR.  Adams left GB as a free agent.

Depending on if other teams are in the bidding, I could see Henry for a 3rd/4th round pick with the Titans taking on about half of the $10.5M salary in 2023.

Float the Henry rumor.

Draft Robinson somewhere in RD1.

Then we're all relieved there was no Henry trade instead of upset with the Robinson pick.

Genius.

Probably due to the lack of oxygen.

Assuming Robinson doesn’t go off the board earlier than expected, of course.  ATL could do something crazy and take him at #8, or the Eagles could trade out and TEN scoops him at #11.

The Eagles could also wait until after the draft for the Vikings to cut Dalvin Cook, or trade a late-round 2024 pick for him.  They had interest in him when he was drafted and it’s doubtful he’d get any big money offers in free agency.

This seems like one of the more realistic lists out there, bucking the trendy names and ranking purely on talent/production.

If he was part of a trade down from 30 as a sweetener I'd be more on board with it if the Titans ate some money. I'm not interested in trading for him pre-draft though.

Trade up:  Anderson

Pick at 10:  Smith

Trade down:  Jones

Adams was traded for a 1st and 2nd.

The Eagles probably won't draft a RB in rd 1 because they don't see long term value past 5 years and someone is pretending they'd trade a high pick for a 29 year old RB with a lot of mileage?

Was thinking the same thing. 4D chess by Howie.

Don’t let facts distract you from my BS

Would be legitimately hilarious if a team moved to 3 for OL.

My mock top 9 as it stands currently, without trades:

1.  Stroud

2.  Young

3.  Anderson

4.  Levis

5.  Wilson

6.  Carter

7.  Gonzalez

8.  Murphy

9.  Skoronski

I think HOU and ARI stay at 2 and 3, Raiders might trade out of #7.

Why is he projected to go late round 2? He’s athletic and has great production to go along with good size/arm length.

Prime spot for us to trade down for someone wanting Richardson. Not sure if you’re aware, but he has a ham cannon.

No idea - the only criticism I heard is he's a bit straight line/lacks bend... but how legit is that given the production and the workout numbers.  He also sets the edge well; solid player.
