I also love resto-mods, where they add modern parts and features to cool classic cars. The paint jobs, added body parts, and other crap on those pictures make them look terrible. Like they audtioned for a Fast and Furious movie but never got a call back. Obviously my opinion of course. He likes to drag race as well, so most of his cars are set up as dual useage, Street/race. I like em all.

Which sucks for them, because this would have been the time for EVs to capitalize on the market and utilize the publicity of the gas prices.

Much like transporting fuel, the weight of the liquid state of batteries is causing a lot of the energy burn. Getting a lighter solid state battery with the same amount of storage will do wonders for the range.
