I knew I needed a RB because they would get snapped up by 26. 23 Jaylen Waddle Mia, WR - Had other WRs that I was hoping would fall but I'm good with Waddle 26 Chris Olave NO, WR - Hate, but had to take a WR here 28 Josh Allen Buf, QB - Was hoping no QBs before this pick but Mahomes went at 22. I'm good 47 Rachaad White TB, RB - Bad offense but is the unquestioned starter. Ok as a WR 2 I guess 50 Alexander Mattison Min, RB - Good offense, unquestioned starter but meh as a RB talent. Decent as a flex 1 74 Kyle Pitts Atl, TE - Was hoping Kittle would fall here. I never take QBs or TEs this high, but trying something differnt 95 Zay Flowers Bal, WR - Really don't feel great about this being my backup WR and potentially weekly flex play 98 Jamaal Williams NO, RB - Needed a backup RB and the dude gets in the end zone. No idea what this pick will look like when Kamara comes back. Hopefully helps put me over the top the first few weeks 119 49ers D/ST SF, D/ST - Never take Def this high but F it. 122 Kadarius Toney KC, WR - shoot me 143 De'Von Achane Mia, RB - Maybe ok here? 146 Matthew Stafford LAR, QB - Who cares? 165 D'Onta Foreman Chi, RB - Maybe ok here? 167 Tyler Conklin NYJ, TE - Who cares? 170 Jonathan Mingo Car, WR - Given the WRs on the team, this is a lottery ticket pick. I don't mind your team, I probably would have passed on White and grabbed Hockenson with that pick and hoped White fell to your next pick or ran with Mattison as your RB 2 which looks pretty good on paper. I stole Kittle from you. I am not a fan of Pitts and decided to grab Kittle at that spot knowing that BBE was also in the market for a TE. I was hoping McLaurin would fall to my pick at 71 but he picked him instead. I keep complaining about the second flex spot of my team, but I think most of us are in the same boat. The three teams that are strongest there also have the 3 worst QB's, so there may not be a big offset.
September 6, 20232 yr More details 2 Ja'Marr Chase Cin, WR - If Jefferson went at 1, the plan was always Chase at 2 to guarantee myself a shot at a top 2 WR and RB. 4 Christian McCaffrey SF, RB - Was hoping he would be the pick at 3 and I would have taken Ekeler who was my preferred pick. I'm pretty hesitant on McCaffrey and I was tossing up going with my gut and grabbing one of Chubb or Pollard here, but ended up going with a consensus top 2 back that has upside and not try and outsmart myself. 45 Justin Herbert LAC, QB - Plan was a QB in the third, seeing the top guys go so early I was worried one of the others wouldn't fall to me. Was hoping to get Fields here but he was gone about 8 picks earlier 52 Kenneth Walker III Sea, RB - I really like Walker as a RB 2 and was happy to see him last this long. Huge upside with his big play ability. 69 George Kittle SF, TE - He was the last tier 1 TE available so I had to grab him here and take the risk on my WR 2. My WR 2 went the next pick but I really don't like Pitts and their QB situation. 71 Brandin Cooks Dal, WR - I like him as a high end flex or low end WR 2. Dak likes to throw the ball and other than Lamb there isn't much to throw to. He has produced with trash in Houston so there is every chance he has about 1000 yards, 80 catches and 6 TD's for the season. That would put him at about WR 20 76 J.K. Dobbins Bal, RB - Hated this pick when I made it, he is always injured, he may not see goal line touches and Andrews is still their best RZ target. Not sure why I went with it other than I needed a RB 93 Skyy Moore KC, WR - When I remembered we needed a second flex I wanted to go best available WR. It was either the unknown in Moore with Mahomes at QB or the injury risk of Michael Thomas. Went the upside of Moore. Also realised how screwed my second flex spot was here 100 Jerick McKinnon KC, RB - He had a monster back end to last season, I really like him in PPR and I see him as that Danny Woodhead type guy that can get a boat load of catches to give him a high floor. I prefer him over Dobbins and he might be my flex. 117 Anthony Richardson Ind, QB - I didn't like much available so I thought I would get a QB with a decent matchup for Herbert's early bye. Probably a waste of a pick but no one else really popped out 124 Rondale Moore Ari, WR - Cards stink, this pick stinks, but they will throw a lot so he should see a lot of targets. Still not great 141 Elijah Mitchell SF, RB - Handcuff for my injury prone RB 1 with another injury prone handcuff. 148 Rashod Bateman Bal, WR - Has fallen off the radar but could be decent. May not see enough targets to start but boom or bust 172 Commanders D/ST Wsh, D/ST - Play Arizona week 1 189 Isaiah Hodgins NYG, WR - Was pretty good down the stretch for the Giants last season, could be their Fulgham 191 Zack Moss Ind, RB - Someone has to carry the ball while Taylor is out

Going by where folks were drafted, not game day flex 2, these are my top 3 teams at that position: Schmoopie (Sutton. No Tim Patrick. Jeudy is already hurt. I didn't want her to see him there so I could grab him ) BFit (Drake London. He has a ton of upside in year 2 IMO) Mat (Moore is going to be the top WR in KC at year end) Here are each of those teams QBs: Schmoopie: Lamar. She was hoping for Allen (sorry) or Mahomes in the 3rd, but the QB run started earlier than normal. Bfit: Dak ....... or did he make INT's 5 points instead of -2 without us noticing? Mat: Herbert. Stat Machine with Phillip Rivers syndrome in the postseason Honestly, 2 of the 3 teams who's 2nd flex I personally like aren't weak at QB.

QB's are Dak, Cousins and Tua I'm not a fan of Akers and Sutton I'm meh on. Jackson could be worth more than both depending what happens with Taylor, but I still don't like either of the other two available options for that second slot. It will come down to Wilson and if he isn't horrendous two years running

We'll see, I'm Bizzaro BigEd when it comes to knowing footbal.
September 6, 20232 yr 6 minutes ago, paco said: I'm higher than most on McCaffery. I had him in both leagues last year and he was money. I have him again in my other league this year. I hate the 9'ers and Shanahan's stupid face so that might be part of the bias. I do think their medical team is complete trash because it feels like they're constantly having guys get injured (Kittle, Mitchell, their entire QB room) and with a guy that struggled with injury 2 of the last 3 years I worry. Plus Purdy is more than likely to regress allowing teams to stack the box and limit the big plays. I don't know if there will be a huge difference between Chubb, Pollard and McCaffrey come the end of the season. Chubb has no Hunt or Johnson. Pollard's numbers were legit last year and with no Zeke and an increased workload he could be top 3. Robinson was a left field one I was thinking about, but he is also the unknown quantity with the Falcons. They have a trash passing game with Ridder at QB. It's better to bet on someone's health than production so McCaffrey won out. 19 minutes ago, paco said: You might be better off with Herbert than Fields. Fields is like me in hot pants: all leg. I don't trust him to last 17 games Fields is my pick to have a Hurts like season. I don't know if he has the arm that Hurts showed last year, but he is insane running the ball. They upgraded at WR bringing in Moore which should help him in the passing game. He could come out of nowhere and finish QB 1 if he stays healthy. I think Herbert can match Burrow and will also be in that upper tier of QB's. Fingers crossed his WR's stay healthy 25 minutes ago, paco said: Yeah he was off my board entirely. I would have went with Khalil Herbert here Herbert was the other one I was tossing up. I talked myself out of picking him due to the Foreman addition and knowing that Fields will be their leading rusher. I also don't see him getting the goal line carries so the upside was higher with Dobbins. 27 minutes ago, paco said: For a back up QB, he might be a very smart pick. The floor is dogshit, but who cares, he's a one week (hopefully) back up. The ceiling could be an RG3 type of rookie season where he lights it up with his legs in the second half. I'm hoping that he is unstoppable running the ball, it sounds like he is in that Vick mould where he had special speed for the QB position, a cannon of an arm and 0 accuracy. From memory the Titans weren't good stopping the run and he plays them the week Herbert has his bye. I'd rather stash him and see than risk picking someone like Jimmy G later in the draft. 32 minutes ago, paco said: 100% guaranteed this will be a better pick than my Zay Flowers one by seasons end, which is why I was so happy Flowers is my 2nd Flex I don't like rookie WR's generally. It's normally year 2 that they take a big step in their production, although there are outliers. Flowers could be one. It also depends how you view OBJ. He is coming off a major injury, didn't play at all last season and I find it hard to believe he will be their number 1 WR. 40 minutes ago, paco said: I have him in my other league. We'll see, I'm Bizzaro BigEd when it comes to knowing footbal. I don't see Taylor hanging around once he does come off IR. Jackson may see the most situational work being a good receiver and the Colts likely playing from behind, but Moss seems like a low risk high reward option

The Zay Flowers pick is literally going to sour me on my team unless he breaks out OBJ style his rookie year. I had 4 WR's queued up going into Round 8 and figured ONE would fall to me. Round 8 3 Brandon Aiyuk SF, WR 6 Courtland Sutton Den, WR 8 Jahan Dotson Wsh, WR 9 Skyy Moore KC, WR 11 Zay Flowers Bal, WR I spent part of last night and this morning talking myself into it. He's been lining up in all WR positions. Looks like he's shifty as hell. He has the ability to be a deep threat or shake CBs off him on more shallow routes. He's never been hurt in college.
