December 12, 20232 yr [Agent23] I missed the playoffs at 8-6 because of points scored, but i outscored the 1 seed and had the 3rd most points scored against me. this is a product of scheduling, if you take out the scedule and kick 5 other teams out, i would win the league. basically, im the real champ. the commish should be embaressed by this league. something, something, spreadsheets [/Agent23]

December 15, 20232 yr I did not have a good team this year. I wish I had the energy to be crazy or ridic or have wild theories but I don’t. But in other news I got a 7% raise in June during annual reviews (after I pre-scheduled a meeting with my manager a month or so prior to lay out not only the extreme value I bring, but how that’s transferred to revenue generated for the company. Pre-Covid we had 2 dedicated people for the products I support which brought in an average of $17-18M a year. In the two full fiscal cycles since Covid we’ve had just me supporting those (other guy wasn’t going to relocate and took another job) , we’ve averaged $48M/yr. One of the other product groups had 2 dedicated people and about 3-4 others who had a majority of their time supporting it and that did $45M. In my midyear this week was informed that I’m getting a promotion that I’ve been actively advocating for the past couple years. Officially on Monday my level bump will go into effect which carries a 10% raise as well as jumping my annual bonus from 10% of my salary to 15% of salary. This will put me at the highest level my position goes to, which they are insanely stingy with. My boss it a point to call out that nobody my age has made it to a Lv4 and that there could be some senior guys who get in their feelings if/when they become aware. Our company has 28 of us that have the same job role across 4 larger product families. There are four other people at this level: 1 in our group who got promoted in June… he’s almost 20 years with the company and 35+ years in the industry. 2 others that are 25+ years with the company and in their 50s if not 60. And the final one is only a few years with the company, but was like a product manager and sales manager for a direct competitor for like 20+ years before joining one of the other groups. Essentially these are all lifers within the company and one guy who they probably had to hire at the top level to match salary and bring someone with his experience and knowledge of other manufacturers in (and usually at that level there are non-competes that prevent them from going into higher roles with direct competitors). Basically I am being too focused on stupid adult stuff instead of having fun in my favorite message board and fantasy league

December 18, 20231 yr I need 20 points from Lockett. Given he's going against our secondary, its a Lock that I make it to the next round
December 21, 20231 yr Round 2 starts today. Predictably, Schmoopie made me her b*** for the third time this season and moves on. Also moving on is @Mat who clearly took out his anger on @jrsu37 for @Machine stealing his bye week at the last second by posting the top score which was a whopping 30 points ahead of everyone else. 39 point blowout? JFC man, we're all internet friends here. Mostly. In the consolation ladder @B3 came to play and had the second had the second highest score of the week, besting @BFit by 25 points. @hukdonfoniks routed cat lady @Agent23by almost 40 points, in part because he didn't even try to set a lineup. Quitter. But lets point and laugh at him posting the lowest score anyway. Finally in the toilet bowl, featuring two of the three lowest scores, @Outlaw came out on top with a comfortable 10 point victory over @BBE who's nightmare season is finally coming to a close.
December 21, 20231 yr I also had Chase and Moss get knocked out of their games injured Oh, I also had Walker on my bench My season will come to an end this week with injuries finally hitting me all at once at the tail end

December 26, 20231 yr Round 2 is in the books! Starting with the winners bracket, Schmoopie fulfilled @mikemack8 doom and gloom prophecy routing him on the way to the finals by 62 points. Meanwhile @Mat and @Machine were in an absolute dogfight posting 2 of the top 4 scores, with @Machine coming out on top with a 6 point victory. This sets up the finals matchup between the reigning champ and a manager too lazy to push a button. @Mat and @mikemack8 will square off to determine 3rd place. In the winners consolation ladder, I bested @jrsu37 by 20 points setting up my round 3 matchup against...... @jrsu37? I guess ESPN really, REALLY wants to make Brock Purdy happen. In the consolation ladder, @hukdonfoniks had a 14 point victory over @B3 thanks to some strong WR play, though his flex WR DJ Moore completely underwhelmed in what should have been a solid matchup. Next @Outlaw's "Happy Endings" continues to come on strong in the end with a league best 178 points, nearly 20 points more than the second top score, to beat @BFit by 25 points. That's right, @BFit had the 3rd best score of the week, so we will need @Agent23 to analyze schedule. Speaking of @Agent23, he actually pulled off a victory this week despite posting the 3rd lowest score, beating @BBE by a whopping 0.18 points. If only @BBE had the foresight to play Baker Mayfield over Mahomes. To close out the final playoff matches, @Outlaw after a rough start and finishing the season as the 11th seed, clawed his way up the playoff ladder to square off with #9 @hukdonfoniks for 7th place. Respect. The opposite of respect, #10 @Agent23 pathetic victory in round 2 keeps him out of the last place game, where he will face off against #8 @B3 to determine who finishes 9th. Lame. Finally, after just missing out of the playoffs, #7 @BFit fell all the way to the last place game where he will try to save face and take on #12 @BBE and his nightmare season. @BFit is a 20 point favorite, so if he manages to blow this, he shall be mocked all offseason by all. Except @Agent23
