As I see it, get ready for re-flation.  Mass deportation of labor supply, tariffs which are paid for by American consumers decreasing spending power, trade wars, pressure on the Fed to decrease interest rates.  Bond yields and mortgage interest rates have spiked tremendously on the perceived drastic increase of the deficit.

Geopolitically, we are looking at the fall of Ukraine, maybe invasion of Taiwan (Trump stated he wouldn't protect them) and an emboldened Isreal to widen the conflict in the Middle East.

Where are you going with your money against that backdrop?

PA residents, do you think last night's outcome would have been the opposite if Harris had picked Shapiro as VP? I don't know a lot about him, since I don't live in PA. But from the outside looking in, he seemed to me that he'd have been a stronger pick.

Given the margins, I don't think Shapiro changes the outcome. Maybe in PA, but not overall.

It's better that he avoid this and be a front runner for 2028.

You misunderstand, my business involves investing mainly in bankruptcies. So more chaos, more bankruptcies, more opportunity for me.

Could be, but remove 19 electoral votes from him and give them to her right now and we're still waiting for a winner right now. Maybe it still turns out with Trump winning in the end, but I think it makes things look a lot different. But like I said, I'm on the outside looking in on Shapiro and basically only know his name. But the tiny bit that I've seen of him, he seems very competent. But I could be mistaken on that.
