It's Miami and the Sixers - of course we'll get fleeced. They'll probably trade this year's first, and then Butler will get hurt and we'll drop into the top 5 and Miami will get the pick lol

Contractually, it's a franchise saving move. Ideally Jimmy opts out this summer. But if he opts in, it's just 1 more year. Way better than being saddled with the full PG contract.
January 28, 20251 yr Interestingly, DeAaron Fox has become available. It is debatable whether Morey missed on trading Simmons for Haliburton because he stupidly held out for Fox. Who was reportedly not available at the time. Reportedly there were trade talks with SAC, but Haliburton ended up getting traded elsewhere. Morey was supposedly holding out for something more. Wonder if he tries something there.
