This way they have 4 expiring contracts if they get brown from the raptors. Raptors probably get draft picks thrown to them for taking on Wiggins and can likely trade Wiggins in the offseason for assets or the following offseason as an expiring contract. that said i thought GS would have interest in PG. They had it during the summer. I don’t think it’s the top option they want but i think they’d do it and go all in one a pipedream of green, Steph and pg. they can say whatever but i think they want to try to go all in next 2 years and attempt to win another for Steph which likely blows up in their face

I cant figure out if it signals they are sellers, or if the fact that he is a good solid player and maybe even a slight upgrade over Martin means they are still competing. Its kinda weird how it kinda works both ways. But, theres no downside here. Its a good move.
February 4, 20251 yr Different positions. Grimes is a guard and Martin is a wing. It's never a good sign that Grimes is on his 4th team and only 24, but thought he was a decent bench guy.
February 4, 20251 yr I'm in the air and they trade Martin Other than the Boston game, he has been pretty mediocre most of the season when he is healthy. Seems like a good sideways trade and they got back their pick and an expiring. Pity it didn't get them Luka
