October 17, 2025Oct 17 Former Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers is leaving his role as an ESPN basketball analyst to become president of sports for Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, giving the championship executive the ability to work across many of the world’s top leagues. Myers now will work in a full-time role with the goal of maximzing opportunites and bolstering processes for a portfolio that includes the New Jersey Devils of the NHL, Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA, Crystal Palace F.C. of the Premier League, and an investment in Joe Gibbs Racing (NASCAR). Myers also will continue to support Josh Harris, the Managing Partner of the Washington Commanders, after he helped assemble the framework of the leadership team that has guided the organization back to prominence.
October 17, 2025Oct 17 I dont have any idea what that role looks like and how much impact he can have on one team or another. I hope he is about to revamp our entire front office for the 76ers though. You know he knows they suck.
October 17, 2025Oct 17 last pre-season game 7pm. Ive yet to see Milicic get a minute. This guy seems to exist only in our imagination.

October 17, 2025Oct 17 Who's ready for Valdez Jordan tonight?? @HazletonEagle Tic Tok said he will be moving to a game playing cast in a couple weeks. I assume that will limit him quite a bit until its taken off?

The best two scenarios are he either fakes like he is healthy and show signs of old Embiid just long enough to fool another team for a trade or he get injured/is still broken early in the year and the rest of the guys can move on and build chemistry for the future. The last thing we need is him coming in and out every 5-10 games to mess up the flow.
October 17, 2025Oct 17 Michael Jordan, the GOAT, will be on NBA on NBC. Can't wait to her his feelings on these guys lol.

First game action. Since you posted that 45 minutes ago, he is 50% shooting with 14 points off the bench. If we could get that nightly, Ill take it.
October 18, 2025Oct 18 Kate cant talk enough about Edgecombe's arc, but he still cant hit a 3. His handle is still not NBA on ball ready either. But we knew these things. The 6ers with their youth and athleticism are playing an exciting brand of basketball, and Edgecombe will do some awesome things playing that way. They said they put in a whole new offense this year. Hopefully they have moved on from the Embiid ball stopper offense to become a run and gun team. When Embiid plays, he will need to keep up (hes done well tonight), and when he is out, they wont need to adjust their whole style of play so things will be more fluid and they wont look so lost without him this season.I dont know if peg leg Paul will be able to play this style. They should look to trade him as soon as possible.
October 18, 2025Oct 18 Embiid is pretty near a triple double in just 19 minutes.Id love to see if such a strategy would work all year. Limit him to 20 minutes a night and see if you can get that kind of maximal effort out of him. We dont need him to score 40+ a night with Maxey, McCain, and Grimes scoring, and playing fast.

October 18, 2025Oct 18 I heard they were planning to play Bona and Embiid together with Embiid being the stretch 4. They played Embiid a lot around the perimeter and it worked really well, even if it was against a bunch of 3rd string guys. It's a good way to keep Embiid healthy avoding the constant clash of bodies in the paint on the offensive side and defensively he cam still do his thing. It was great to see him out on the court and looking pretty healthy
