March 25Mar 25 Joel Embiid might be the biggest "What if" in sports history. 15 points in 6 minutes so far....
March 28Mar 28 Isaiah Evans so far is the highest scoring player in this Duke/St Johns game tonight. And is a guy I have seen mocked to the 76ers. He is projected to be available at our pick, and is actually currently pick 30 on tankathon. 20 year old 6'6'' sophomore SF. Seems like he wouldnt be a bad choice.
March 29Mar 29 First time in a long time they were basically full strength with Maxey and Oubre suiting up. Caught the last couple minutes since I was asleep and it was nice to see, George, Maxey and Embiid all make key plays
April 1Apr 1 Kyle Carlin reports Embiid is out due to illness.Embiid says must be an April fools joke because he played in similar conditions so he's planning to play. We will see.

April 5Apr 5 Just looking at Tankathon. We are on the cusp of making the lottery. Just a handful of game from missing the playoffs. Then I looked at Sixers draft picks in this year and upcoming years. We need to stop trading our first round picks away. This leadership is fricking worthless.Current team is not competitive. Top heavy with dumb contracts. And, we traded our future away.

His scoring average is way down since the first half of the year. Hes worn down, and injured. The wonderful coach, GM, and medical staff have reduced his effectiveness for playoffs.

Hes worn down, and injured. The wonderful coach, GM, and medical staff have reduced his effectiveness for playoffs.A couple games back, Maxey got hurt and he was wincing during the stoppage when the other guy was shooting free throws. I think he hit his finger pretty hard because he was shaking his hand. He is a pro's pro so he barely made a deal out of it. I bet he reaggravated that finger. Last night, he had open looks right at the 3 point line, not even 3-5 feet back, that he was passing up.I can't stand Whoseyourmama. He is Minute Bol with a shot and dribble. He looks like gumby out there. At one point he ran into Joel who wasn't even moving and it looked like he hit a brick wall, he collapsed immediately. Then the two times he got injured, it seems like there was barely any contact. He is gumby. Guy won't make it for than 4-5 years. The main thing he has going for him is that he is super tall and long. His reach is his game changer, not his actual skills. If you took away his reach, he is average player at best. The NBA is doomed. It's either going to be Whoseyourmama or Master Foul Baiter as the face of this league.
April 7Apr 7 I bet Maxey tore an extensor tendon. Those can be treated nonoperatively in a splint for a few months. Pretty much the only finger injury that makes sense to have such a long recovery timeline without surgery. If it comes out of the splint at all, you are back to day 0 and the timeline starts all over again.A fracture would have been healed by the time he came back. He was supposed to be out longer but came back early.I bet they rolled the dice and said F it, if it gets reinjured he can get surgery in the offseason. Now he will have a finger droop which will affect him the rest of the season.Just a hunch knowing this dumb franchise is with player health.
