and VJ, start the rebuild, fire the GM and get a MODERN thinking GM, and fire that joke of a coach. TOTAL rebuild.

I don't think anyone is going to disagree with you at this point. The only real hope for this team, however, is if somehow Josh Harris gets busted as a pedo or something and sells the team.

Embiid is out for the play in in tournament, and beyond. We figured but its been announced now.

I haven't looked but I've read that you can get tickets to the play in game in philly as low as 15 dollars.

If we win today, that gives Maxey 4 days to rest his finger. I doubt that's enough time for it to heal enough to get his 3 point shot back. Without his 3 point shooting, we are gonna get cooked by Boston.

I always bash the NBA for a meaningless regular season, but this scenario is a great counterpoint to that. If the 76ers were a better team who put together a better body of work in the regular season, they'd be out of the play-in situation, would be playing a team in round 1 that they might actually beat without Embiid, and everyone would be amped up to see him back pretty healthy in round 2.

Instead, they'll be long gone by then. And that's because of their regular season failures.

Just a reminder that if somehow Maxey, VJ, George play great and have bench help, Nurse is always there to f it up. Go playoffs!

Id find this hard to believe considering what he has played through. Then again, its embiid and he might do something out of spite. Remember he wasnt happy the other day when they held him out due to an illness (which ironically may have been his appendix so theyd be right...)

welp, still leading after 3 quarters. Only a 20 point 3rd quarter but actually held orlando to 19 so they won a 3rd quarter!

he sucks. Its sad that we are basically in the playoffs with Bona and Drummond in the rotation. We have needed a backup center who is playable in the playoffs for sooooooo long. Team keeps overlooking it.

Yeah. Fans have 0 interest in this team right now next thing you know theyre parading down broad street while everyone is focused on hockey and the phillies. That would fit. We would hardly get to enjoy it.

So, the story continues and now I know its made up.

Maxey was interviewed and talked about someone asking- what if embiid shows up to the game? And Maxey said that would be amazing. But Im not going to ask him. If he can be there, he will be there. Embiid did show up to the game, and Maxey said he was excited. Went up and gave him a big hug.

There is no turmoil. The players seem to understand that he does need to be out. Maxey wasnt even sure if he would attend as a fan but had faith that if Embiid could attend, he would.

Speak for yourself. Not even a Cowboys Super Bowl win would ruin me celebrating a Sixers championship. Who gives an f what the rest of the city feels like. You would be overjoyed and not give a rats @$$ about anything else.....by the way, dream is over, wake up.

(If that scenario ever happened, you are wrong though. Everyone and their sister would jump on the bandwagon by round 3. 10 year girls would be canceling their tennis lessons to watch the games).
