I genuinely dont know if Nick Richards is the good backup center or not.If he is, feels like the would have cut jabari walker and signed him already.Id almost like them to platoon Hukporti with a shooter like Love or Olynek because the ideal, good backup center may no longer be out there in free agency. But, maybe something via trade, or buyout later in the season.
July 30Jul 30 There is Gafford speculation on facebook but I dont believe there can possibly be anything behind that because we dont have salaries to match. Hes making something like 14? 17? million this year.6ers arent trading any of their new guys they brought in this year, I wouldnt think. And clearly cant get to that number by releasing Jabari Walker, OR trading Philon or Bona. It doesnt add up. I think Gafford is baseless speculation by people who havent considered the cap at all.There was also speculation that LeBron isnt going to waste his last 2 years hoping for Embiid to be healthy so if it doesnt work this year, thats when Embiid gets moved for AD. This also sounds like nothing but speculation, but does sound somewhat plausible.

Not even close to possible. Gafford making 17 mil. The combo of Hukporti and Edwards is around 5 mil.Also looked like they can't trade Huk for a while. Not sure when that date is.
