Iguodala was saying, they didnt have a gym. There was no practice facility.

They rented a gym from some college. And the gym was all booked up. Like, after the 6ers, the cheerleaders got the gym.

The guys went on to joke about the situation like, you gotta get out, your time's up, senior aerobics are coming in right now.

So, there was no such thing as getting to the facility early. Or staying late to get extra work in. He said, there is a reason why Iverson hated practice. And Carmello chimed in and said, it all makes so much more sense now because when Iverson arrived in Denver, he was always there. And took on a big brother type role to Carmello and the team. Basically, that "We talking bout pra'tice" Iverson didnt exist in Denver.

Iguodala did go on to say, its changed and its gotten a lot better. But he said that team was not trying to win. That was not an organization that was serious about winning. A pro basketball team that didnt even have a spot to practice.

I hope LeBron can impact the culture here. I hope he opts in for a 2nd year and we get as much of him as we can. And then I hope Harris gives him a piece of ownership of his company so LeBron can stay involved.

No, I dont care for a lot of the LeBron side show. But, we need every ounce of his experience as a proven winner and savvy veteran here. Personal habits from skill development, to caring for his body, diet and exercise. And even influence on the HC using his own basketball IQ, and helping the coach instill proper organizational values.

Though the 6ers now have their own practice facility, this is very much a team, and organization who has a LOT to learn about being winners. LeBron has a lot to offer there.
